Clan Shields Generator

The above are the current shields that are available in CoC.

I'm thinking that a few more shields would allow clans to stand out more, and become more original as with the thousands of clashers that play daily 51 shields don't exactly go a long way.

Searching through clan names, I see there's over 13 different "Kings Landing" clans, with each one having the same shield #32 (fourth row, fifth column), and similar situations with other top-notch clans since people can create clans with the same exact name as already existing clans.

I personally think there should be something put into the game that allows players to design their OWN shields at the cost of either loot or gems. I think this would also be a fun addition to clan making if you can put your own personal touch on your clan shields.

What features exactly would this shield generator have you ask? [More warrant to be added if this idea is liked]

• Shield patterns (such as the one's currently if you don't want to start from scratch).
• Color changer (which in itself would offer a variety of shield variations).
• Black CoC Troop Emblems (maybe a slanted Viking Helmet with two swords crossing behind it for Barbarians, a hog with an apple in its mouth with an arrow going through it to symbolize Archers, etc.) You could center these emblems, en-large them, and even set them up to cover blank spaces in your shields (ex. shield #2 in the first row, second column).
• "Save" Feature for your designs so you can upload them whenever you'd like.

An amazing idea, though there would have to be some kind of reporting feature because I am SURE there will be a lot of ♥♥♥♥♥es, breasts and swastikas (just saying from experience).

Maybe there are only 9 or 16 blocks you can 'fill in' with a colour.

This options should be elixir. I just feel that this should be elixir-based and that elixir is so little part of clans.

As for the shield generator, there should be a range of images of troops, defences and buildings to also choose from.

I could imagine the face of a minion being our clan shield (it's called The Rage Minions)

Nice idea I really like

I would be fine with it if it only changes color, not change the whole shield. Would be cool if you can change color of the shields.

It would have to be some sort of system where you can choose from a collection of predefined symbols and colors. Allowing people to add anything would be a mess.

This because you have no idea how weird they can be, and it can be disgusting too. Imagine what it would be like with completely customizable shields.

Btw the last symbol is not a real symbol, I wonder why. I hope you can at least change color of symbols since that would be fine.

I thhink we would be better if SC just added more shields. Maybe like 50 new ones :)

*I didn't intend for the Shield Generator to allow you to download pictures into your shield design, because I agree that people would probably use inappropriate pictures for their shields.

That would really be time-consuming for the Devs. People have asked to add more flags to have their country be represented but that isn't being changed either. Just letting us be able to edit current shields would be a step in the right direction. It would also be easier in the long run as we'd be the one creating the shields rather than SC.
