New barracks (league based troops)

I find it rather boring and not that rewarding climbing up the leagues, of corse the bonus gold and elixar has been added but I feel as though that is not a big enough draw to make me want to push on trophy hunting so this is my idea of something that would reward you for where you stand in league medals.

New barracks that can be created regardless of the townhouse level.
Upgrading the barracks will only be allowed when the player advances in league rank. Example

Bronze league. Once barracks is built the player will have access to one unique troop.

Silver league. Barracks is required to be upgraded before player can access the troop that is appointed for silver league

Gold league. Once again upgrading the barracks is required to unlock the troop for the gold league.

This would continue all the way to champions league with the troops getting stronger with each league.
In total it would add six new troops to the game.
The catch with farming would be if you drop out of a league ( silver to bronze ) you would no longer be able to use the silver league troop in bronze. This would therefore not allow the abuse of strong level troops to rip though low level bases.
I'm not sure if this idea would be possible or if I'm providing enough information but I have talked to a few fellow clashers and all of them seemed to be amused by the idea, guess I'll see what people on here think. Thanks for your time

Youre missing one vital key. First The Troops. Second the barrack name cost to upgrade ect

Before posting I read through the stickies and found multiple troop ideas that supercell was considering. Didn't see the point of trying to create multiple troops when they have several they are considering

What happens if a player goes all the way to crystal and then drops back to silver like a lot of people do? Then he or she would have unlocked all the troops and be able to attack low lvl players who can't make those. Wouldn't that make the game pretty much unbalanced? Moreso that it almost already is? What if a guy goes all the way to champion, unlocks a major a$$kicker troop and then comes all the way back down to crystal to loot? See what I'm saying?

Like stated in my post once the player drops out of a league down to a lower one he would no longer be able to build the troop unlocked any the higher league. Now of corse someone would be able to create a full army of the new troops and drop down and still have them in his army camps but he would not be able to build anymore

ah yes, this would be a valid argument, but you forgot: he mentioned that in the original post. he said if a player starts farming, though, they lose the ability to use those troops that they have unlocked. the whole article was kind of about motivation to get trophies. please read b4 u post!

I like it though, very good idea.

With some thought put into this it could turn out to be a good way to encourage pushing.

Agreed. I think it would add some fun progressing through trophy leagues. Plus it looks like sc is thinking about adding more troops so this could help them out

interesting idea, but whats the point? and what will the troops be, special abilities and stats?

The point is to make players climb through the leagues. Plus can you imagine the benefits it would have for plays that joined a strong clan. Would really make it worth while to be In a clan that had people in cristal+ leagues

I actually really like this idea. It adds a cool element to the game. Probably can't be implemented for regular barracks but possibly for Dark barracks. Maybe that 8th spot could be for the 'special' troop.

I personally don't like this idea, at all.
