the xp would just add what was already upgraded. Not like asking for a refund for builds becoming cheaper.

I thought gemmers don't get xp for any time that is gemmed... If you start a level 7 tesla upgrade, and wait 5 minutes and then gem, I was under the impression that you would get xp for just the 5 minutes, and the remainder of the 14 day period didn't give xp because xp was determined by actual upgrade time, not potential upgrade time...
I swear I've seen super low levels on upper tier bases and when looking at the GG and HH profile it was clear they had gemmed. I always figured this explained why...
Maybe it was just misinterpretation of what I was looking at though.
I'm pretty sure that the builder moves between the anvil and the cauldron of coals. This is the case for the BK at least. He is forging his sword and armor, not upgrading the altar.
I still wish the BK would sit there and guzzle dark elixir, and maybe even act a little tipsy like hiccuping and nodding off and stuff, while the poor little builder worked over the hot flames for days on end. I mean, that is why he is powerful, right? Because he was a normal barb that got into the dark elixir, haha. So if he is getting more powerful, it's because he has been into the dark elixir again, right?
For people that say XP means nothing they haven't tried joining a clan with XP (Level) Requirements. It apparently does mean something.
1 At least King is as big as a building? At least when raged.
2 Yes, all my troops are real heroes and I do donate them!
3 It is a huge achievement to get your hero upgraded so shouldn't it count? :)
4 Yes, by upgrading my heroes I get to destroy THs :)
5 Yes, I do remove my hero sometimes by putting him/her to sleep :)
(Sorry, I just had to :D)
