I just got enough saved up for upgrading either barbs, archers, or giants to level 5. Which one should I do first? my troops consists of 10 giants, 7wb, about 45 goblins, 25 barbs (or 12 minions), and the rest archers out of 190 troop capacity.

I think it really depends on how you attack, but I'll say, for me, I upgraded giants first and then archers.
i usually send all my giants in first followed my wb and then behind them I spread out archers. I am raising my trophy count now to 1400-1500 for th8 farming since I heard that is the place to be so when I get up there, I will change my attack strategy.
That sounds like the attack strategy that I use, and I stay around 2000 trophies. I would definitely go with the giants first then.
I always upgrade giants first.
Do archers first, you can get into high level clans as soon as they are done, so get them done first, then farming for other lvl 5 troops will be easy.

Archers to level 5 is the most beneficial upgrade in my opinion. It will not only help you out in farming, but will give you a status boost among other players. :D
Depends on what you use more, i would do giants first all days in the week. Don't you dare compare these tiny archers with the all mighty giants!:mad:
