i got hit by 3 lighting spells and the guy took from me only 17, I guess he was desperate.

i think you hit the nail on the head. i used to 3-lightning revenge when i was a new TH7 cos there was no way i could revenge a TH8/9 with my troops, plus i needed DE to get the BK.

now a more mature TH8 at 1600, noone takes DE from me this way, and i certainly would prefer rage over lightning.

I just challenged everyone else's claim.

As for my level, I don't see how that has anything to do with my posts, or how I should be presenting myself in the forums.

Maybe people would see me as a higher level if I was always shooting down their ideas, giving short, unemotional answers, and calling them noobs?
I'm not one of those people that acts all high and mighty because of my level, it just wouldn't be me...

Did you miss completely how people told you specifically that revenge was always possible if someone used only lightning but wasn't revenging you? Nobody said "I read it in that other thread". You didn't discover the truth, it was told to you long before in this very thread.

Today, I just upgraded my TH to level 8. I think I will stop DE farming for a long period of time. I prefer upgrading my defense and troop power to upgrading BK

But you'll keep accumulating DE nevertheless...in dribs and drabs...then one day you'll find you have 12k + elixir and you'll want to upgrade burger king :p:p

my DE is 18xxx now. it was 20k yesterday.
I lost 1000+ DE after upgrading to TH8 today.
I have to upgrade my DE storage first, then my BK can be upgrade to level 6
