Hi...
Is this do-able if we do not online non stop for certain hours (for typical on and off player) ?
I mean can we gain cups on 1 defense and 1 attacks?
what is the chance of defending an attacks from those guys on C1-M3?
can we win the defense or at least just loose 1 stars so we can gain 2 stars and make cup profit?
can someone upload the defensive logs?
I'm helping my clan mate to push masters to get 4th builder
I'll be honest with ya:
I didn't win a single defense. I was happy if I woke up to less than -30. Usually I'd take a -40 loss every time I logged off... To get there as a TH8 you kind of have to no life the game for a weekend or so :/ Playing in 4+ hour sessions is the best since you can maximize trophies gained making defense less important
I agree with drayrti. I think you need sessions, however you can do it slowly over more time if you make sure not to break shield more than necessary. So def no on and off, but can do it with 12 h between sessions and aim at going + each day. A th7 did that in my clan. But sessions is still required Im afraid.
million thanks...
I'm just wondering if he do something wrong because that happen to him as well... each time he logged off then he will get revenged and almost all is 3 stars. so, he is suffering to made cups profit on c1. because he just can 1 star for 50% or TH, and at most 2 star if he is very lucky getting exposed th or th7 in there.
thanks buddy...
Request for clarification: Is it better to configure your base as a trophy-defending base? Or as a farming one with TH on the outside?
As TH8, I expect to get crushed by higher level players. However, if I leave my TH on the outside, there is a reasonable chance that as soon as my 'player is online' warning drops and my base is exposed, that a low(er) level player will snipe my base and "buy" me a 12 hour shield while only shedding 5-10 trophies, instead of getting 3-starred and losing 15-30 trophies.
Is my thinking flawed? If yes, I would be grateful if you would please let me know and why!
I did leave that out, because I've found it's more luck than tactics when it comes to that. I have pushed to masters once with a farming base and once with a trophy pushing base and found the experiences very similar.
With a farming base you can hope for the odd one sniping you and with a trophy pushing base you can hope for the odd 1 star (50%). However, as th8, if I come across a th7 up near masters there is no chance I would settle for sniping it. I would throw everything I had at it if needed, including my shoes, to get 100%. And thats excactly how th9 och 10 look at me up there. Just such a rare opportunity that you have to go for it.
The revenge attacks are the big thing and after reaching 2785 trophies last week, I still suffer from the revenge hangovers from masters. The odds that a another low lvl player will reach you first and try to snipe you are bad. And even if a low level finds you first they aren't going to settle for snipe but at least get 2 stars.
Personally I preferred having a trophy pushing base cause at least I was doing my best to protect my trophies (although not successfully) and also, I never had to wonder if maybe a 2 star would've been a 1 star if I had only not given up th. But when it comes to trophies, there wasn't any difference between the two strategies.
Rhaegar13 and Wuxia, thanks for your detailed replies. I understand much better now the strategy and the revenge problem. I especially liked term 'masters hangover'. ;-)
Very nice guide :)
