Clan Update Idea (without TONS of pictures!)
I think Mastermind can do better in enhancing further my idea about clan wars or perhaps he already have something like this in mind, i just want to give my idea and hopefully it will give of some value to improve the game play.. hats off to your amazing contribution master sifu !!
Clan Updates:
1. You can level up the Clan (stats can be shown via clan castle). Level is achieved by gaining star points from raiding. The more players actively raid, the faster the clan will level up. With enough number of star points, the clan will gain a level. This will help promote to actively play the game, because the clan would want actively raiding players. I can see some of my clan members just simply have 0 successful raid throughout the entire season though they still donate troops. This is quite sad because they are near the border of quitting the game.
2. Clan Skills. Why do we need to level up the clan? It is simply because of this - Clan Skills. Different skills is unlocked at different levels. The skills can be activated for a certain period of time, lets say activated for 1 or 2 days (2 days makes its good to use during weekends) and it will have a cool down period which prevents clan to frequently use the clan skill. The skill can only be activated by the clan leader. There are a few of skills that I can think of right now, here they are:
a. % Bonus loot - clan members will get bonus loot from successful attack for as long as this skill is activated
b. % Bonus attack - clan members will get bonus attack power for as long as this skill is activated
c. % Bonus defense/hitpoints - clan members will get bonus defense/hitpoints when defending
Note: the percentage can be determined via beta testing, I wouldn't want to assume the correct figure but it's up to the devs to define the percentage value as they see it fit.
This suggestion doesn't really focus on how Clan Wars should be designed but I do think that this suggestion/idea will be a good pre-clan wars update. This will help clans prepare for the main update, the clan wars !!
