Just use the lightning spell to farm it. I will be very difficult to get to the core of a th8 base if it is not premature.

Th7 if u farm well aim for 1k an hour 500 from zap spells then 500 easy i reckon 2000 per hour from taking exposed full high lvl drills. Drills fill faster so to tell If it's full use the little de storage on top of it (trophy range gold1 crystal 3)
why you want DE farming on TH7?
farming DE with Lv.4 troops is waste of time because you just can drain few hundreds DE in a raid
If you've maxed gold and elixir, then it's time to move to TH8
farming DE on TH8 is much easier than TH7 because you'll use Lv.5 troops that is far better than Lv.4 troop
TH7 advantages is just you still able to loot TH6 without penalty... You will not find any DE on this TH6 guys...

but most people still holds, farm with big effort and time while having little result until BK, Minions, and Hogs are all maxed, before they start the TH upgrade. I would say this is waste of effort and time.
