It is most def possible to hit Masters, so don't try to discourage me! :p
Anyway, looks like I'll be barching up to C2, Ballinion to C1, and Dragloon, Mass Drag, and th snipe to Masters. Thx guys ;)
I never made it to masters even as a TH9 but I've pushed enough to offer some advice
Early on Mass Dragons can get you allot of 3 star victories against bases with improperly upgraded air defenses, but somewhere in Crystal III (I think 2100) those bases drop off sharply.
Mass Hogs will likely get you into Crystal I if your picky and have the skills to tackle a Th9. However, you'd really need lvl 4 hogs to work the magic.
Barch with lightening spells in tow is a good choice after the above strategies become impractical (above 2400 for sure). Find a base with a high% of exposed buildings, lighting off a critically positioned mortar (if needed) and go for the 50%. Once you get to Crystal I, the loot bonus should compensate some for the loot you'd have to ignore.
Once you hit 2500 you might need to reconsider the sniping thing. But that depends on your skill level with the 50% thing. Honestly Barch masters, who know where they can get that 50% can go incredibly high.
Me, I haven't hard cored it long enough to be able to come up with 50% on a consistent basis
O, you must have your BK available for the extra few % if needed

Its mainly about sniping and fairly basic because I wanted it to suit all clan members, but can still be useful. First push three of us at th8 made master following it.
