Here's a very cool idea for you guys: what if, once a player has reached a certain rank or town hall level - they get inboxed with a special "prize" video showing the growth of their village from the time they built their first cannon to the point they'd created a defensive fortress? A token of hard work and endurance to share with fellow clan mates, if you will. :)
