Instead of raging against SC for the loot issues and such, I thought I should give few of my ideas a go.
When i joined Forums back in January, I did made a post about additional events and competitions but I never stated what they should be like. Many people supported it.
But today Ii will Suggest few additions to the game. More single player missions will be introduced and I am excited about them. But those missions tend to get a bit stale and they are not repetitive.No resources for the second time and they are, easy anyways. Since they are not evolving, anyone can complete them with tutorials.
Boss rounds.
How does it work?
- We can be taken to a map that's empty. A boss can spawn randomly every now and then. Let's say within a time frame of 1-2 days. 1 boss at any given time. or 2 if that's better for a challenge.
- It doesn't really have to be 1 boss only. We can have a wide array of bosses available.
- A new boss should be unlocked at levels, let's say
50 - 70 - 80 - 90 - 100 with final boss unlocked at 120.
- Bosses can have a percentage based spawn rate with stronger boss having lower chance to spawn.
- As new bosses are unlocked, they should also get random abilities and spells accordingly to catch a player by surprise. A same boss with same predictable attacks will be boring.
- Each boss can drop random rewards according to their level. Rewards are the best motivation to doing anything. But i won't suggest any specific rewards as people will call me greedy. I can suggest some rewards like random skins for a limited time. Let's say a tin foil hat for one's barbarian for a week. hahaha
- Ability to share replays. Now what would be better than showing off your abilities to react to different situations :)
Now let's talk about their abilities. i will suggest some basic ones. Complicated ones if the idea gains momentum.
1 - Criticals.
2 - Evasion.
3 - Bonus armor
4 - Rage
i will add more according to player feedback :)
Spells and Auras. ( basically to keep hordes of barbarians to keep from storming the bosses )
1 - Slow aura
2 - Poison aura
3 - Damage reduction aura
3 - Active single target spells like Sleep, bash, lightning strike
4 - Aoe spells like Stomp ( good against witches :P ), Aoe stun for a second, Ensare, etc
Surprise spells. ( to make it even more challenging )
1 - Create illusions. illisions can deal less damage and receive more in turn.
2 - Call in meteors from deep heavens. Dealing heavy damage in AOE
3 - Unit conversion. Make it fight you back :P
4 - Teleportation
5 - Haunt units. They run off to forests.
6 - Kamehameha
The Percentages, damage, duration, Aoe radius cannot be decided because it's all in the hands of Supercell. they know how to balance them out ;)
Challenge rounds.
This is regarding current single player missions being too blunt. I am currently playing a single player mission and all i did was to spam my army and it's over O_O
Now here's the added fun. How about game setting rules for u.
Let's say, game sets requirements. Limited amount of troops and what troops can be used. This should be random because otherwise, there will be tutorials about it soon and all will follow the instructions.
imagine only being limited to using 10 goblins, 15 barbarians, 30 archers and 4 wall breakers. ( this depends according to the level )
It will truly test one's skills.
Other challenge can be added is the time frame.
I will keep added more content to this Opening post and notify whenever i edit it. I will be actively keeping a lookout for player based suggestions and ideas :)
