How is it similar to a hog rider? Read through the whole thread. The only way that it's similar to a hog is that it has a rider on it. The special ability and every other property of this troop are different.

For whenever it attacked a certain unit, it would also stop every attacking troop for 1 second giving time for cannons and archer towers to pick em off without being challenged - a bit like a mini freeze spell.

Working on some artwork now! Quite difficult to find a pic of a man riding a bat lolz!

Yeah possibly.. I know the image looks kinda like a level 6 goblin but I don't think that should be the type of figure riding it. Certainly, I think the mask and mo-hawk look good but I think it should look different and be bigger than a goblin. Maybe it could be just a modified goblin like modified wall breaker is a balloon. Another possible description for the troop in the game could be:

"The Bat Rider is an extremely intelligent unit. These bigger and cleverer Goblins have managed to tame the terrifiying giant bat! No enemy troop is safe from it's terrible shriek!

The idea of it having a range makes the entire defense/offense statistic more equal.
