Advice on troops

Hi.

I have been using balloons for over 7 months now, and aside from getting a little bit bored, I came to the realization that they are not the most reliable army for high level gameplay. The highest I got to with them was MasterII.
I am now farming for troops and defenses but I am looking for alternative armies I can use again once I decide to climb up.
considering my current troop status below, what do you think my best options would be? I already planned to finish healer and valkyrie upgrade, but I am not sure about the rest of spells and troops.

King is lv16, queen is on the way to lv28.

u have the most craziest lvl for troops lol. lvl 4 pekkas but still lvl 5 archers? LOL! I get u don't use 'em but its still funny...

get the jump spell up, its only 1 lvl even if u don't use it and same with barbs and archers.

if u wanna farm, id say max ur barbs and archers, carry 1 of each spell for all situations.

either do barch, upgrade minions to lvl 6 and do bam, or upgrade ur goblins to lvl 6 and do bag. either way, barbs, archers, and wall breakers are used so upgrade ur barbs and archers.

Max your barbarians and archers. You can get as high as Champion League with them! Along with that fact, they are also very cheap and you can maintain a push for several weeks!

ok thanks but I am already farming at the moment, I am more interested in armies than can also be used to get some cups. maybe golums above all?

If you say balloons don't get you past m2, I think your just bad. A TH9 made 3400 with balloons.

I'm not bad, I have used them for ages successfully. I just don't play enough in a day to gain lots of trophy and since with balloons it is already not too common to 2 star a base I can't go very far, so I need an army that is better.

That makes it sound better, my apologies. :) Yeah. You must have no job or life if you sit there 1-2 starring with loons multiple times. Defense is always a loss as a TH9 in anywhere past Masters.

barch and bam can get u trophies and resources at the same time, not so sure 'bout bag though.

I am th10 by the way. All I am asking is a more effective army to gain cups and if possible to get some ok loot too. If I could 2 star bases systematically I could go higher in trophy for sure.
