How do you grade the importance of defense upgrades at Town Hall 9?

Being relatively new to town hall 9, I proceeded to get my xbows directly to level 2 and then max splash defenses. I have my clan castle upgrading and hope to start my xbows to level 3 soon. Then air defenses and archer towers, cannons, and teslas in no particular order. So to summarize:

My Defensive Priorities
1) Xbows/Splash (I feel either one of these is about the same level of usefulness)
2) Clan Castle (Helps on offense as well :)
3) Air Defenses
4) Cannons, archer towers, teslas
5) Cannons, archer towers, teslas
6) Cannons, archer towers, teslas

I'd like to hear what your priorities are!

i maxed xbows from the start then worked my way to wizard towers then mortars. all i need to do is upgrade my tesslas and 1 archer tower😁

(while traps during excess loot times)

Not completely sure but I've read a lot of threads explaining that point defense is more important once you enter th9

I arrived TH9 yesterday

I've got 2 xbows building and 2 on teslas from th8. timed it bad.

And I've kept one builder free for walls. my new 25 walls are going skull now.

Once xbow is finished

New tower - continue upgrading
new wiz - continue upgrading
mortar - level 7
mortar - level 7
5th builder - level 9 wall

Teslas are more powerful than a max (lev 4) xbow.... No way you put them down there

Walls all the way!

Clan castle but only if you can make sure it will be filled with troops you actually want.

While teslas are the highest dps point defense, they take a long time and don't have the range of other point defenses that may have lesser dps

This is exactly what I did and agree with the
logic. Splash damage is very good support and lvl 3 xbows get 75dps which really help mow down defenses. I saved my air defense for very last.

i prioritize offense so
1 of each new defense
lab
camps
storage
cc
drills
spell
xbow
wiz
mortar
tesla
at
cannon
ad

1. xbows

2. WT

3. HT, Mortar, AD
