TH9 had a much more favorable wall-to-building percentage. (Same number of walls but quite a few more buildings). It was easier to rely on walls to protect the 50% as the TH9. You have to adjust now that you're TH10 like myself.

I do exactly what you have done- keep the lower level walls to protect the village while forming letters with the higher level walls.

The majority of people will attack you from the southwest to get your gold. I think you can shift your base up/to the right and use the walls to funnel the troops into the big bombs.

As a general rule of thumb, having extra walls means you need a redesign.

i never had or have extra walls and if i did i would use them to protect what i want to protect

If you have more than 5 extra walls you arent protecting your village adequitely and need a new design.

If you have barracks and army camps inside walls and have resources that are incredibly easy to take, its time for a new design

This is a trophy base, pretending to be a rage quit base. Very good at protecting the TH and the 50%
