Is this way Supercell wants the game to be played at TH10?

One option is the one I'm at, master league waiting spells for 3 hours to attack someone (without boosting) and hoping you dont get attacked and lose many resources, trophies and trap rearm cost

The other option is farming at lower leagues pressing next many times until you find a noob you can raid

Im not even considering going 3500+ trophies because its just ridiculous the need to stare at the screen for 6h, attack for 2-3 trophies many times so you can balance the loss when you forced go offline...

Are those our options really? Because it doesnt seem fun to me, not at all

Oh please, suck it up. You take this way too far. You don't need spells to raid. Use barch for 50% look to other solutions, supercell does not purposely do this???yeesh.

And please dont tell me to barch, i did it many times. Did it about 4 times today, but two of them i stopped at 49% because the timer ended, 1 more sec and i wouldve won both. But that made me think... Why the hell should i risk barching for just 90k of each resource? Its not worth it, loot cap is 400k and i get 90k if i barch, which is makes me about... 300k gold/elix per hour? Im not wasting my time doing this anymore

it shouldnt be harder to get resources the higher you get

I saw the words "without boosting". This game wasn't really made for people to not give them money.

Personally, I'm having decent success farming with giant/healer in gold 2, a decent amount of th 9 bases with 300k/300k or so. Though my gold per hour probably isn't particularly impressive, I'm sure that more dedicated players near my trophy range haul in way more than I do, and I certainly get more loot than you if you're only attacking once every 3 hours, with the added bonus that I can log off as often as I want. While I realize that farming at lower trophy levels is not for everyone, masters and champ are clearly not the only option for th 10s.

actually, farming in crystal is quite easy and fun. I'm th10 with more purple elixir than I can use. You just have to change your troop composition. Cook time is 30 to 35 minutes, but getting 200 to 400k gold per raid along with the win bonus more than makes up for it. When you find vacant bases every so often, only use the bare minimum of troops and loot will add up quickly. Come on, you are TH10, what the heck are you doing down there fighting with the th9s and below for abandoned bases for? ;)

Dontu have to press many, many times to find loot? Theres a long time I dont go back to gold league, not since one update before the last one

I guess tha will be my option.. Do u leave ur th outside? Generally when i did that ppl get the TH and lightning my DE.. And since i raid and quit the game that happened about 3 times a day at least

Yeah thats my point here actually. Gemming should be an extra thing in the game to boost your progress, not a necessity

Barch, balloonion the outside of the base, someone barched with valks and wizards, all archersa and archers with a golem are all strategies that I've watched vids of working or heard about someone being successful with that really ignore the IFs and from what I've seen don't necessarily rely of the bk.

TH inside. It will allow me to pick up defensive cups while I don't play. Actually, I don't get attacked much, if at all in chrystal 3. This is the new farming grounds of all well developed TH10.

They don't want you to play it eigther of those ways.. They want you to gem, gem, gem.. And then gem some more !

Pretty obvious that every update goes towards this, making it harder and garder to play the game without gemming..
..so guess soon there will be two options left (kinda allready there really).. Farm or gem !

So your trophy pushing? Or are you farming
If you trophy pushing, either go for the 50% or, well, boost your spell factory
If you are farming, what are you doing, going up against discos every match?!

For farming try 1900-2300 with BAM or giant healer archer. 500-750k gold per hour. No gems at all.

For pushing try Balloon Minions. One to two star wins all the way up to 4500 trophies. Fun too. Many good guides out there and it only costs 10 gems/2h to boost spells. 32-48minute build time isn't bad at all.

If you're really adventurous you can farm at 2700+ with 16-20 loons rest minions(maye a few lure barbarians for witch skeletons) Almost as much gold as BAM but you'll end up drowning in Dark Elixir. Only issue is you have to stay logged on for as long as possible to not be attacked by GoWiWi or Maxed Dragons.

I farming, but i got mad i had to press next over 100 times to find a target at lower trophies so im farming at high cups. Baloonions arent an option right now because im saving elixir right now to upgrade freeze to lvl 4 and 5.. And i cant keep up with spending 30 gems everyday boosting, it shouldnt be like that...

i had some very good hog raids after i created this thread, about 900k gold/elix in 2 attacks, took a long time but at least i made some profit, and not a turtle one

Its all about the mindset...th10 loot can be had if ur persistent. Ppl in my clan r farming with good success
from 1800-2800. Gold id say master 3 and under is good with 2400-2700 offering de as well. Master 2 is de farming. Barch and balloonion r rlly the only strats we use. Pls dont complain about loot it is there most of the time, i will admit that there r some [very] rough patches though. Just keep pushing thru using cheap armies and eventually u will see success. Be patient and search for dead bases.

I'm using loonians, no spells, and overflowing with purple elixir. 16 to 20 balloons, minion, 10 barbs and some archers is less than 100k purple. Many bases at gold 1 to crystal 3 will give you 200k to 400k easy as they prioritize to protect their gold and dark elixir. I will soon have no more use for purple elixir. If you have your army camps, and pumps all max out, you can take your time to upgrade your troops and spells and focus on getting gold and dark.

I wonder if they are paying much attention to CoC at all with the global release of Boom Beach in a couple of weeks. That represents an enormous cash cow.

Why isn't boosting your spell factory an option? Oh u mean you don't want to buy any gems right? SC probably won't answer your post because they can't put it bluntly...but the way I see it, you've been playing a free game for how long? 6 months to a year...you've finally come to a point where you are stuck unless you use gems. I think you've gotten a great deal right?

I totally agree with you. This is meant to be an enjoyable fun mobile game, not another grinding full time job. For all the people about to say put the effort in or change your cup/army composition or there is always less loot at weekend/after an update. These are just excuses for a game with broken economics. Simple fix, the league bonus needs to be increased drastically and the generation of resources must also be increased drastically. SC will then get more players buying gems. Gems for builders or to rush builders time. There would be less farming. Everyone would be happy. Simple.

Because the game should be playable without gems. I play for about 1 year 6 months, and ive already bought gems. Please read other posts before posting

Maybe you're not using BARC correctly...all of our members that use barc is having success with loot. We range from gold league to champ (farming)...fyi..i farm in master 2 - champ with heros upgrading....

Have played all Day, 8 ♥♥♥♥ing hours, and have cost me 100.000 gold to play and seach.. My search cost is allready 1 mio gold, and cant find base With more than 150.000.. It is every weekend, if you wanne farm u have to play monday-friday.. Every holiday and weekend u play With no gain..

Have played for over 1 year and uses money.. this is ruin the fun part of the game.. Tell me why i should keep play this game if its not fun supercell? 1 good reason? Just 1????

If it's not fun time to put game away and try something else. Ive been trying different things to bring the fun back as well, dropping trophies, raising trophies, weird army combos for fun. I still like playing but not like I use to, hopefully something gets added soon that makes the game exciting again.

I really think the timer should be expanded... Can't 3 star TH10 with the buildings spread out without rage

It's 3 min since TH8, and it definetely doesn't keep up now

All this talk makes me never ever want to go to TH 10 it sounds like a disaster.

I'm surfing Cristal and Master and having a good time, as a TH10.

It only gets worse as time goes on. The issue isn't so much being th10 it is everyone else is also th10 and I see so many upgrading each day. Two inferno towers can make storages un touchable to anything other than L40 heroes.

Really seems the only answer is increase in cups and focus on 50% wins although that isn't much use to those of us who don't stay logged in between raids.
