wait or DE drill

ok, so heres my dilemma, i have about 23 hours left until my lab is done upgrading and since im a new TH8, my DE drills is only lvl 1. so should i wait until my lab is done upgrading to upgrade archers to lvl 5 or should i upgrade my DE drill to lvl 2 now

Definetly lvl 5 archers.

Archers for sure, theyre awesome at level 5 plus you get resistance to lvl 4 mortar which is nice.

archers is top priority once you arrive TH8.

Lv.3 drills just give you 1K DE/day...
those green archer will help you farm more that that

Archers - Barch works really well at th8 and th9.
The DE drill became more important later in th8, but maybe tackle the drills at th9 a little earlier because there are so many needs - BK, AQ, lab, and pushing. If you stay at th9 for 3-6 months that's a lot of dark elixir.

At Th8 your dark elixir drill produces a pitiful amount of elixir. It does help but having lvl 5 archers is much more likely to gain you DE faster than said drill.



When you hit Th9 your troop upgrades would still come first, but the DE they produce once maxed will be much more substantial.

I'd rather archer just because I feel like you don't really NEED to have de until you are leveling bk lab de troops or aq so near the end of th8. For a new th7 archer sounds about right. It's a huge upgrade for farming

A rule of thumb for most people is, given the choice between upgrading offense or upgrading something else, pick your offensive upgrade.

I have lived by it and have been pleased with the results!

the only reason I get excited for lvling up my archers is so that it takes another shot for a lower lvl mortar to kill my archers. that's seriously it. in my opinion, archers suck a lot, I like barbs a ton more. its just that theyre cheaper, ranged and quicker, that's why I use them, otherwise they suck. id do my drill first, I only did my archers first cuz I didn't want my lab to have nothing going on, plus my drill was only lvl 1.
