You'll have no issues, go ahead and upgrade. I'd never leave builders idle. You will max your TH8 before the lab is done as well, it is just the way it is.
Dang man I am had trouble getting king til lvl2 and u said he is lvl 5. Tell me what range and how did u farm the dark elixer.

I'd upgrade what you use the most in the lab, if you use the rage, focus on that, bloons? Well then do those.
