either you have a lot of loot, he wants his trophies back or you took his town hall with lv4 and under troops.Quote:

Fair 100%. Attackers aren't there to give a free shield. That's just a sometimes fortunate by product of being attacked.
Revenge is is all part and parcel of the game. I find some of the best loot and trophy gains in Revenge. Haven't read a wiki, guide, CoC website anywhere that is down on Revenge attacks. Most encourage them.
It's definitely a bad move on their part but there's nothing you can do about it. Wish their was a "Douche Revenge" button for those people you give a free shield and they lightning your DE or fully attack you.
I remember once I sniped someone's town hall and the guy did a full on attack on me. He actually ended up stealing literally none of my gold and DE and it was a massive fail. I left my clan and joined his clan briefly so I could share the replay by everyone in his clan. Hilarity ensued and it was very rewarding hah I would recommend that if that ever happens to you.

The reality is, Etiquette is not a factor. If it can be done, it will be done (at some point).
I usually don't revenge unless I'm either in a very bad mood and you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me off or U're offering me a lot of loot or cups.
I am all in favour of revenge, some of my best loots have been revenge ones. I just never revenge someone who has given me a free shield and stopped someone else taking my gold/DE.Quote:

Generally if you TH snipe then you are punching above your weight and sooner or later one of the big boys are going to punch back (harder).
