TH9 master 2 league going to champions

Hello all.

So I'm just currently floating around 2747 trophies in master 2 league [record 2867 trophies]. Barch has been my main strategy for this as I felt I was noob with hogging and Gowiwi took too long to cook up [not to mention my golem only level 3]. My base is maxed out and mostly level 8 walls with a few level 9 ones and it has held against defences well against some hog riders. None of them have 2/3 starred me yet.

Just wondering do you think it's possible to hit 3200 [champion league] borderline with only barb and archers at TH9? I feel like I'm hitting a block/wall but I think sometimes I understate and underestimate bases which "look" easy but aren't.

i know some suggested balloonian but with the new inferno tower multis... that option is looking tough... especially considering it take 48 min to cook up 24 balloon [or 40 min if 20].

Can't offer much advice, I personally stalled out at 2574 trophies with Balloonions. I am approaching that point again and feel my second attempt at masters will be successful, but I can confirm that Discos are a big problem for Balloonions. You can throw in some dragons to combat it - not sure if resources are an issue.

I've used barch from 1900 to 2867 all the way. I actually just want to know what people use at TH9 to get to champ now that I've got the chance and time before I get busy again.

However the wall/gap/difficulty I can feel it now as I get closer to 2900 >.<

It is easier for a TH9 to barch starting from 2700 because everything is TH10 starting from there and almost all are maxed discos. I hogged/looned my way to 2600 and it started to feel like the game is playing me instead of me playing the game because when you go searching for vids, there are all sorts of methods in high masters / champs and somehow they all work, old school giant healer, loonions, hogs, gowiwi, mass drags, barch... ... all ok np gg, AS LONG AS YOU HAVE A FREEZE. (or maybe two)

I also hit a wall at 2900 with barch, my record is 2902, at 2700 some bases have only maxed xbows and infernoes but it doesn't matter if it's level 100 because if you pick the right base those never even shoot, but at 2900 most bases are REAL maxed TH10's that's when it gets really hard because maxed point defenses splash and AD don't only mean more damage, they also have higher HP. Countless times I have lost at 48% and 49% at barching true maxed TH10s because of those extra little bit of HP.

Maybe it's just my patience falling off, lol, I'll be giving it another try soon though. It's been done (barching to champs) but I am not sure how many off those were TH9. Imagine at TH10 when you have 20 more troops and an extra lightning, that would turn like 90% of my losses into wins.

Look for bases with tons of buildings on the outside to barch. Also, always have a few lightning spells on you to drop on a hero platform or something if you're at the end of the raid to get that last percent or two to get 50%. Daddy made a video about using mainly archers, and some barbarians, to trophy push in masters 2 and 1.

its good you reach 2867 cups. my record last time 2607 (my first time to reach master, TH8). in a few weeks time, our clan will push again, hopefully i could reach higher with level 6 barch. Back to your topic, i sometimes put minions to help me cook faster. I usually lose cups duiring raid because i sometimes underestimate the base. But the point is how to get back that lost cups. Also, you need to be very patient to look for a base which you feel you could 50%. Spells also plays a big role. I saw your base and checked your SF, looks like youre using all lightning spells. Way back when i reach my first master, i am using rage spells to reach TH that are within reach. Its kinda swift attack since you need to quicly deploy your troops before the rage ends. Godson just posted a video using arch giants and heal spells that you can use up in champs. His youtube name is godsoncoc I think. I think its his latest video.

Barching to champs is really hard as a TH9, because you only have 220 space and no freeze. I dont know if it has ever been done before, but i think its really hard. Also, it depends on your hero's. If you got high level hero's it might be possible, but still very difficult.

Btw, if your going to champs i think you will have to get used to the idea of gemming your spell factory and barracks (and hero's if high level). If you gem both, loonions becomes an option, that might do the trick.
