Solve any Stupid New Loot System

I'm thinking of making a clan that will keep track of inactive bases.... So if you are a TH8, you can join if you're going to quit Clash of Clans...Overtime, the storages will empty, and the bases will all be collector raid only raids. Therefore, the trophy range of the whole clan will determine where you need to drop and farm. This particular clan will be called "TrackDatIA8"... And TH9 will be "TrackDatIA9," and TH10 will be "TrackDatIA10." In order to join, all the mines and collectors must be maxed... Dark elixir drills will have a difference on how people raid, but there needs to be a variety so it's not just the exact same type of base. This clan can be checked on, and will always show the trophy level you should farm at... What do you think? Good idea... Bad idea...?

TrackDatIA7 Requirements: Level 11 Gold Mines (6), Level 11 Elixir Collectors (6), Empty as possible Storages. Must be inactive.

TrackDatIA8 Requirements: Level 11 Gold Mines (6), Level 11 Elixir Collectors (6), Level 1-3 Dark Elixir Drill (1), Empty as possible Storages. Must be inactive.

TrackDatIA9 Requirements: Level 11 Gold Mines (6), Level 11 Elixir Collectors (6), Level 1-6 Dark Elixir Drill (2), Empty as possible Storages. Must be inactive.

TrackDatIA10 Requirements: Level 11 Gold Mines (7), Level 11 Elixir Collectors (7), Level 1-3 Dark Elixir Drill (3), Empty as possible Storages. Must be inactive.



How to empty storages....

Gold: Start off with upgrading and canceling. This will get rid of large sums. When you can't afford anymore upgrades, search... Search until you're broke.

Elixir: Start off with upgrading and canceling. You can also upgrade troops, since they have nothing to do with inactives... Then spend the rest on troops (WB first) and dump in single player missions.

Dark Elixir: Upgrade and cancel heroes if possible, train lots of Dark Elixir troops... Dump them in single player missions.

Only problem i see: should the bases be trophy bases or farming base? That might affect the individual trophy count

This would be awesome! If only you told me sooner. I would've dumped my alt there. Now it's beyond my control where my alt goes... It's just floating on the servers.

Not the point of this... Just a clan to view the inactives and see the trophy range, so you can farm there.

Still have collector raids included right?

As we are seeing bases with zero activity are removed from match making very quickly, not sure how the above will work?

After 3 days you will have a clan with 50 bases that nobodies attacking because all the bases have bee removed from match making.

I think too many people are quick on calling the "bad guy SC" card. Inactives arent always removed. In fact, up in the 2400's, my last 6 raids have been against inactives. These bases are very much still in matchmaking and aren't removed "3 days" after nobody has touched them. There is plenty of collector loot. You just have to find the right range.

Sounds very ambitious and all but im still not sure it will actually work or even tell you where all the other inactives are as every base is different and may win/lose accordingly and therefore be in different ranges

I can assure you that if you do not open the COC app for 3 days your base will be removed from the queue.

Too many ppl assume that inactive means not raiding, this is not the case, inactive means not visiting your base at all.

Still the point of this... Find the range anyways: not all the bases are the same. All you need is the overall range.

Of course your base is fine when you visit it after 5 months.

What Im trying to get across to you is that if a base in not looked at (COC app not opened) for 3 days you will be removed from MATCH MAKING. Your base will remain but will NOT be attacked.

I still feel that people are going about this all wrong. The current loot system is ok but the real problem is the fact that 70% of all the gold inthe game get sunk into walls. If walls were half the cost, there would not be the need to raid as much and those collector bases would be full for the guy needing up grades.

Lower the cost of walls and the issue goes away

I don't like your poll options... it's a nice idea but it has a major flaw.

Someone tried to propose a theory on this before, but the problem is it doesn't work this way, inactive bases are only attacked several times before they no longer com up in the queue, i.e. it doesn't give the base time to settle into aggregate position.

The simple problem is inactive bases DON'T come up in the match making system, only active bases do. The bases you are finding not inactive, they just haven't been played in a few days.

So this just sounds like a lot of pointless work.

It will be in matchmaking as long as you go and remove gravestones every week. Since people would be dumping their mini's here, we could keep these bases in matchmaking until the experiment is over

There is no loot being put into matchmaking, thats the problem. Not walls

What percentage of people have spent even half the cost of walls on their walls, lowering the cost will just make more people have walls, and encourage more people to build the now affordable walls.

This will do the exact opposite of what you are expecting.

Understand what I'm saying... I haven't been on it in five months. It means that I haven't looked at it for over five months. It has been attacked constantly...

I disagree 70% is an arbitrary figure with no real support. But if it is true and the cost of walls is lowered, then players will surely just do more walls in the same amount of time.

I have tried it on a number of occasions and this is not true. During the December boost my base was inactive for longer than this and was still attacked, even without a collector boost and really low res in storages. Also a couple of holidays last year and my base was still attacked.

Just because you may have left a base inactive for a period and it stopped getting attacked after three days, this does not create a general principle.

This simpley isnt true. It may have been prior to December but from December on, if a base isnt opened after 3 days its removed from match making.

I have several minis and many clan mates with minis, they are all reporting the same thing.

That means that any bases after December anyways would be inactive. I already told you that it hasn't been removed

5 months is longer than 3 days and I said I was still attacked :P My village was not fine.

Supercell is not stupid. Top players could get the highest trophies, but a one and two day shield. There's three days. Never visit again and always stay high in trophies.

I think this is a good idea in principle, the issue is that you can't ensure the bases remain equally inactive. We know inactives work to the end of the match making queue. I would distinguish this from the common assertion that SC removes them from the queue.

It the owner, logs in every few days it will keep the base active. equally if the base is left permanently it will go inactive. You may well get a different result for each base depending on whether it is technically active or not, so you might not get a fair indicator. That said, no one really knows for sure, so I say try it, what is there to lose if you can get people to participate.

Honestly, do you really think that all bases that have been created and left to die over the last 5 months are still able to be attacked?

Think about it logically for a minute.

I find this hard to believe. I see plenty of bases with gift boxes from Santa bombs (in the middle of their villages). So there are either a lot of people with Santa bombs exploding in the middle of their bases in the 3 days prior to me seeing them, or they log on but don't clear graves and gift boxes.

I guess one alternative explanation is that only people who have become inactive after the update are taken out of matchmaking, but that would seem like a weird way to do the matchmaking.

They were removed 2 weeks ago as part of the update.

I still have a base full of unopened presents.

Most people clear out santa bombs and graves. Since it was removed two weeks ago, they've probably been inactive since at least then.

Some people like keeping their presents, it's the graves that might show inactivity.

Sorry this is going off topic but people saying that bases after 3 days go "of the queue"? They are stating fact or there own guess work?

Great idea, and to those that attacked these bases should also post when they attacked these bases to check if inactives really get removed from que with just 3 days. I remember being inactive for a month, and when I logged back in, my defense log was completely filled with attacks that were all 12-13 hours apart, with the last one a few hours ago. It was never removed from que. It's just too bad SC staffs don't give out these information and makes the players guess.

Wow. I would have never thought of this idea. It is indeed awesome! But...this idea will not be as to as much significance in the end...players will forget to join,still be active etc etc...but definitely email this to SC.

Also... I've seen a few people who have minis that would enjoy this, and it hasn't gotten enough attention :/ More votes possible? I'd like a lot of opinions on this, so feedback or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I don't think that they should empty the storages. That just takes away from the loot in the game. But I like the general idea.

this is a really smart idea! the point of this is to see where the inactives are piling up since they are gonna keep dropping trophies until a certain place then we go there. right?

although the only problem is mentioned in jollyindian's first post on this thread, which is farming base or trophy base.

Cool idea, but there are only 50 spots and tons of players at any given trophy position, so find them would still be equally rare imo

Why in the world would you empty the storages? seriously, waste of resources. Let someone take that too instead of wasting it all
