Add feature Leaving clan penalty

I would like to request a feature added. To help build clan loyalty there should be a penalty for leaving your current clan. i would suggest something like a 8 or 12 hour no join penalty. This way people don't hop from one clan to the next asking for troops then leave. This should also help them decide on joining another before hand also. Or you could add a feature that takes away resources like the gold and Elixir that gets larger with level.

I don't really like this idea. Once in a while, I enjoy hopping clans and donating troops. Also, there are some clans out there that might be offensive to the person who joined, but now we can't leave since there is a penalty. In other words, this would punish many good people as well as the bad.

I agree it has a good purpose but it would punish those trying to find new clan's maybe if their could be another away like have a limit of clans you can join a week and if you pass that limit you wont be able to join another clan for a day.But I agree with what you are saying 966souchou.

There is now a 24 hr ban from rejoining clans which has helped in this regard. If hoppers are that bad use invite only to more carefully pick your members.

Personally I would not like this as I am part a family of clans, there are occasions when I bounce between them. Having a lockout timer in the way would be unnecessarily restrictive.

No way. Many of us, myself included, are part of multi-clan families, and we move throughout them.

Moving is fine. It is when you are kicked that the ban should be in place. A lot of people move here and there. When i kick a hopper, i would love it knowing that that member will not be able to join ANY clan for a specific period of time. 7 days sounds logical.

It is currently set at 24 hours, 7 days is too long

And when you kick someone just to be petty that would really fun for the fellow getting kicked. Invite people from global and then kick them out while laughing all the way.

If you do not like when people request troops and then leave just have a clan policy that anyone requesting with donating X troops before will be kicked out or simply do not donate the troops to the new recruit.
