Life above 3400 cups

I have been struggling to maintain cup counts above 3400. It seems like I can only find 2-9 trophies most times and when I log off I'm nailed from 11-19 constantly. What is the deal above 3400? I don't have this issue below 3400, and these are not revenges. How are people hitting me for this cup count and I never see this? Anyone up here have insight?

You have to attack several times each time you log on and I'd also recommend searching longer.30+ targets are there.

I'm at 3700 and I've basically hit an unbreakable (for my virtually non-existant budget) wall. The higher you go, the more volatile the cup offers get. In most farming ranges, and even up into low master you see only 13-34 (roughly) cup raids. Then the bottom drops out after you hit champ and you see mostly 1-3 cup raids, BUT you also have the possibility of getting massive 50+ cup offers. Just a few days ago I got a base worth 56 CUPS (-2 if I would have lost lol) just from normal matchmaking.

Luck and time of day become big factors. If you can find even 2 of those monster raids in a session, you're fine. One and you're about breakeven from my experience. At 3400 you might not be being selective enough? Don't settle for anything less than 15 or so (offered, not won. this should be LOW END) around there would be my advice, then slowly drop that number as you go up. By now, I'll hit anything worth 9. It's a really really tough grind though after decent cups get hard to find. :(

Edit: And the defensive losses only gets worse too. The higher you go, the more people there are beneath you and the fewer there are above you. If you can find those huge 55 cup raids, odds are at some point you are gonna be the vicitim of it too.

Everybody loses on defense, noob walls or not. :rolleyes:

Probably contributing to the problem is the fact that most of my raids are only one star wins since I use balloonions. I'd say people who use GoWiWi or something, or have max heroes, could probably go a little bit higher before hitting a wall. Honestly, I'd say by 3800 everybody is probably struggling a little, except the very best maybe.

This is why I do NOT push trophies very much. Currently stealing every noob's money in Gold 2.:o

Currently pushing to Gold II. That's my faming range.
What I mean is, I went down to sub-200 trophy range, and found no good loot.
So today I'm pushing back to Gold II.

Thanks Zach, I do search, normally 50+ next to find the base that has cups, some good loot and walls that arent blue as my heros get lost trying to mash them all down lol. I tried looking more yesterday and it was just slim pickings everywhere... I don't know how you guys are finding the better cups, alas I will keep at it....

The higher you go, the less available players there are to raid. Dont start complaining until you've hit 3600+ and have to search for 30 mins for a 1-2 cup raid with the message "unable to find a village to attack, try again" 4-5 times while searching.

remember, Champion is the Elite league in this game, to be the best, you have to put in the time :cool:

Why is champion like this? Is it because there is very few clashers up there?

Yes. I'd say there are 1,000,000+ players in Gold League (This is just a rough estimation, dont quote me on that), but there are only a few thousand players in Champ League (5,000 maybe). At 3,600+, there are only like 500 players.

I'm not complaining, just looking for advice, and I can imagine this only get's worst not better as you climb.

Not much advice to give, its just a part of the game at this point. Hopefully SC can create a champion league where we dont have to see Master II bases all the time for 1-2 cups.

I spend anywhere from 100-400k gold searching to get away from the 1-2 cups bases... Its really about timing. Keep searching and eventually youll find the one 20-50 cup base to raid!

Clouds argg they suck. I have my personel account which I get up to 3500 then I also have another account that I play with a friend that is 3817 it's not easy. It takes me 4 hours to find a raid more then 1 cup aswell as it takes 20 mins of clouds sometimes it's awful. Supercell top players are gonna start dropping like fries if you don't clean this up. Aswell as daddy I love you and idolize you but STOP DEFENDING MAHER he is not a clean players bottom line see my champions post for more info.

He isn't defending him. Name and shame is against the forum rules so as a Moderator it's his duty to shut down all threads about Maher or any other individual player. He takes his position seriously as he should.

To be honest after reading all these post the champions league doesn't sound like much fun. Staring at clouds all day and spending hours searching for a base is not what I would call fun. Sounds more like a waste of time than anything else. Having to do this all day certainly dose not give me much incentive to reach the champions league. Maybe I am playing the wrong game lol. Anyways I still enjoy trophy pushing. I find it very exciting in the masters league just a bit disappointed what to expect when you reach the champions league.

This phenomina only happens near 3600+... Dont cut yourself short at Master I

The league bonus in Champion is great and you get it for 3200 where raids are still abundant.

I have personally dropped from 3600+ to farm around 3450 with a GoArch strategy and it is great. Getting some much needed hero upgrades in :cool:
