New traps-Snare and Bear trap
Just as there are bombs and giant bombs, this is essentially an upgraded spring trap. Players get one at TH 8 and another at TH 10.
Snares cost 30k gold to set and rearm.
It takes up a 1x2 space and will instant kill any unit-Golems however will still split into golemites. There is a twist though. Snares can only flip one unit. While springs can toss 15 barbarians, a snare will only trip one. These defenses are meant to take out the heavyweight troops rather than flick away hordes of tier 1 and 2.
Regarding heroes-If a hero steps on one of these they won't take damage but will be affected. They will change into sleeping position and make their deploy sound and stay like that for 10 seconds, unable to move or attack.
Bear trap is unlocked at TH 6. A second is unlocked at TH 7, a third at 9 and fourth at 10.
They function similarly to hidden teslas.
They cost 300k to buy, 700k to upgrade to level 2, 2.4M for level 3 (TH 8) and 5.6M to upgrade to lv 4. (TH 9)
Their appearance based on level
1 Jaws of grey metal with brass gears inside
2 Jaws get larger, core becomes blue metal
3 Jaws become golden
4 Made of dark metal with an inferno core replacing the gears
Bear trap has trigger radius of 5 tiles. They will leap out of the ground and attack a unit (Air included), slowing them down and doing damage over time. When a target dies, they move onto another.
They break after they have killed an amount of troops double their level, with the exception of level 4 which will kill 10.
