Where are all my troops?

Quick question(I know this is a NOOOB question): If I donate troops do are they unavailable to me until they die? I have three Army camps and they say that they're "Full!" yet I only have 50% of my troops available. This normal?

Also, my troops aren't jumping out of the castle when attacked. The castle just gets destroyed and they're still in there.

1. You can use clan castle troops in offense, defense however you want until they die, not you.
2. Hmm... That might be a bug. There is a forum section about bugs and glitches so get a hand there.
3. If there are only air units attacking and your clan castle is only filled with troops that can only attack ground units, they will stay inside.

1. The troops don't show up in offense and when I watch the replay of me being attacked they don't fight.
2. I'll try posting this in the bug section, see if I get any responses.
3. The castle was attacked by ground troops, I watched a replay awhile back and saw them coming out. In the most recent attack where I was defeated I noticed that they stayed in and the castle was eventually destroyed.

Some troops, such as Giants and WBs, take up more than one space in the Army Camps.

If u get attack with air units and u have barbs or giant they stayed inside the castle as they have attack towards air units

Giants have 5 housing, same with balloons etc... check the troop info page for their housing space.

I just took a look at the housing space for each type of troop vs the quantity and it looks like it adds up. My bad, still don't know why they guys are staying in the castle. Guess I'll keep an eye on it and see if it keeps happening.

With the Clan Castle troops, if you have ground troops like barbarians or giants in there and you are attacked with air they won't come out because they cannot attack air. Only troops able to defend will come out of the castle. Also whatever troops survive the attack will remain in your castle and any destroyed are removed. On attack you don't get any troops back that leave the castle.
