gems are losing their value... just my opinion and no, this is not a troll, just my honest opinion

It's not as if we'll ever run out of a use for gems; we'll be progressing at the same rate as them.

yeah but if you quit now, they will be able to get to the point you were at quicker because of gems quicker... builders... etc. assuming they did the same thing as you

I disagree, just because people can gain access to more gems now doesn't mean that it's losing value. The value still stay the same. People boost > get used to boost > crave for more. Easier gems > more Boost > faster raid > more dry resources > encouraging gems.

The domino effect is actually more complicated than what you think.

If you quit now, then why does it matter how strong the players are? You shouldn't try to hold people back just for the heck of it.

ill rephrase:

if you started at the same time as someone and they got 6 gems for obstacles max and you got 3 max who would get their forth builders first if you did exactly the same thing with gems
(got achievements at the same time, etc.)?
