When you do find loot its great, but the majority of the time u r hoping that the next base u find someone has over 4million gold in storages(th10) which most people dont. This loot system is based on hoping people are saving for big upgrades and not dumping their gold into walls and the people who are saving for something big more then likely are sitting on the game so they either dont get attacked or r trying to hurry to save up for that upgrade.Thats y this is a problem. Remember SC this is a mobile game, not a console game. No one wants to have to sit on this game and click next 100 times to find loot. Smh

This guy is just trolling us. First of all, he is a th9 so loot is fine. Second of all his gold grab is only 244 million so he's obviously not finding raids like that consistently.

I was just about to post this. As a TH9 in Crystal I, I hit 'Next' a lot, but I have no problem finding loot.

For me, the 'Next' button is about finding loot that isn't hammered down by disco infernos.

As a TH9, it's tough up here, because it's mostly TH10s that I encounter.

I hold my own though, and loot isn't an issue for me.

Not really. The game is not based on two-way battles. It is based on improving one's attacking skills within one's constraints to overpower different kinds of defenses. This can be done by either learning how to effectively handle the troops or by recognizing what base setups can be taken on with the available army composition (or both). The only reason one builds defenses and designs bases is to protect resources/trophies from various levels of attackers. Some experienced ones will almost always get the resources/trophies, while many others won't. As the game clearly promotes attacking over defending, it's expected that attackers get rewarded much more than defenders. So, the only loss is for defenders to cover which they need to attack. That's the game !

Boom beach won't match COC and Hayday was never a comparison for COC in regards to revenue. In order to keep a positive ROI on the Supercell investment they simply need more players to buy gems. Maybe they think a negative economy provides the incentive for players to spend but I doubt that it will work out that way.

The best way for sustainable revenue is creating a committed playerbase with active engagement. I think if SC will look at the figures they will see lots of previously active players spending less time on the game. There are many new players though, through Android and the commercials but those will drop out pretty quick too.

There is so much that can be done to change this; getting a more engaged player base, and meanwhile getting more revenue from the platform but I don't think the current strategy will work out positive for SC. The focus is on maximizing profit on the short term, not on long term player engagement.

You pretty much nailed it with this post, and i totally agrea.. They are really sacrificing good gameplay and loong term players for a short term profit.. A damn shame since making the game fun and people engaged again would likely be much more profitable for them in the loong run.
