Amen brother. SC and their complete lack of response to a reall issue.

I don't think the actual issue is anything involved with the game itself. Loot is where it should be, and SC doesn't need to change it.
what SC does NEED to do, is put their foot down and stop players using third party software that keeps them logged in and finds them the best loot. They'll activate their app and when they hit the find a raid button it automatically finds raids of their specified amount. If they only want 300K+ raids they find them immediately. This has a ripple effect and makes the loot seem bad for anyone who's not doing it. When someone uses software like this SC knows. They know if you're messing with any of their programming. Yet they do nothing about it because the majority of players who do this also spend a lot of money on gems. SCs blind eye only tempts more and more players to download this third party software and it makes the loot worse and worse for honest players.
SC needs to stand up and take action to uphold their own ToS. Until they do so there will always be threads like this.
Best way to solve this is to remove the need for this kind of fluffy bunnies: just include this tool for setting a treshold for the searches that actually show up in the game itself. If you're satisfied with all those 30k villages you'll leave the tool alone. And if you don't mind spending up to 200k to find a difficult 400k gold-raid... suit yourself. At least it will solve the problem of the neverending nexting, which is imo the most annoying issue right now.
Erm, What? - this software keeps pressing next for you to land you on a base with lots of loot and this is impacting the economy because those who don't use it cant press next that many times??? i fail to see what this software is doing wrong? if anything it sounds like something my fingers and iPad would thank me for.
This is interesting but..... a twist on it should not be select-able settings but maybe something in Matchmaking to exclude bases with little or no resources... permanently, forever, for everyone.
if you have less than 50K available, why would anyone attack you anyway? ;)
This ^^
I know the idea has been mentioned somewhere before, but I cannot find it to quote.
Someone mentioned about adding an achievement for upgrading mines/collectors/drills. I think this would help MASSIVELY as people would feel it was more of an achievement ( duh ) to upgrade them, thus leading to more loot ( than now ) in the system. Even new players who wouldn't be serious players, would upgrade them, quit after a few months, and BOOM. More inactive juicy raids.
Will this happen..? Not so sure..
What this software does is simply press next for you.. Just like if you clicked next yourself.
So it does not, as you state, find 300k raids immediatly, but just as if you clicked yourself looking for a 300k loot keeps clicking next untill a 300k base comes up, then it stops clicking next.
It still cost the same to click each next and it doesn't find it faster or better than if you used your own finger to do the clicks (as simply it just clicks next for you)... So doubt that this will make any difference at all to the loot.
i think someone pointed out earlier that the volume of new players will only help to feed those above them with loot so new players isn't fully the issue.

Everyone realises that there are millions of new players from the android community, along with the hundreds of thousands of players who just decide to download the game, along with what I assume to be a few more hundred thousand players who have downloaded the game after seeing the advertisements? I don't believe it's all the new loot systems fault, but the fact that there are now millions more players we have to skip through.
If anything, all those new players have rather made the new loot system less terrible than it would otherwise have been, and this for the simple fact that the game is designed (or has become at least, as likely this was not intended to be) for higher th. Players to pray on lower th. Players for their loot..
This meaning that loot travels upwards (from th.6 looting bellow him, to th.7 looting the th.6, to th.8 looting the th.7...etc), so all those new players are actually rather helping to get at least a bit of loot upwards now..
Only place in this game that more loot can be created by the players than they actually need them selves (as in, mines can produce more gold than needed for updates and gameplay) are at the low levels, so this is basickly where all our loot is comming from these days, traveling up the ranks.
Mines and pumps got their last update level at th. 7 or 8 and hasn't been updated since then.. And there lies the problem.. So at and above th.8 less loot gets produced than is needed and you cant raid with profit from them without new loot comming up through the ranks from bellow.
So if anything, all the new players is actually a help, and it would have been much worse without them :-/
If its widely used of course it has an impact.
Sure there's the next cost as usual, but the individual would get a better turnover. Just like you do now, you next for 150k to find a 250k raid. If you net 100k every raid you get a pretty badass income/h... While faster cleaning out the inactives.
I like the idea of the new update, higher stakes for th10 where you can lose more loot or potentially gain more loot from taking on another th10.
The fundamental problem with the change is that it didn't add any loot to the game. You are just swapping loot from one player to the next.
There are only currently 3 ways that loot is generated in the game: through collectors, through league bonuses, purchased resources through gems.
Either an improvement of one of the existing loot generation methods needs to be made or a fourth method needs to be created. Swapping money around between player A and player B doesn't solve the current loot problems for th10 players.
