You should be able to do a fake attack on your clan members just for fun and it wont cost any elixir or training time just select the troops available to you and choose a player in your clan and attack and be able to post the battle in the log.

No, any type of sandbox mode is ruled out by SC. Also people can abuse it by visiting their enemy's clan and finding out the best troop comp. and then leave and attack them with that army comp.
