Hello fellow clashers that have decided to read my thread. Today I would like to introduce with you my Clan Competitions. I have seen 1 or 2 of these but they are fairly vague and have no pictures. But for that 1 or 2 that did bring up the first idea thank you, I give credit for you to this idea.
So, if you are smart you will basically know what this idea is from the title, Clan Competitions. Basically the clan leader can start competitions and other members can compete. This thread may be fairly long but please just bare with me, and as much as I advise you to read the entire thing that I have worked on for a few days, you can just look at the pictures. Like that sayings goes 1 picture is equal to 1,000 words. I think that is how it goes.

Part 1/4: Setting up Clan Competitions
Clan Competitions are set up by the Leaders and Co-Leaders. How it works is for the Leaders and Co-Leaders there will be an extra button when you click on you Clan Castle saying "Create a Clan Competition". As you can see in the picture below, If you are a Leader or Co-Leader this button pops up, If you are a lower rank then this button is not available to you.
It is kind of like the Send a message button, It is only available to Leaders and Co-Leaders, So now lets take a look at the picture.

The button from the previous picture will say that you may not use it if there is already a competition going on, there may only be 1 at a time. So in the picture below it will show you what happens if you click on the "Start a Competition" button when there is already one going on.

It will also stop you from making a competition unless there is 20 or more people in your clan. (To avoid feeding loot from a second account to a main account)

You also have a 2 day cool-down to create another contest. (Also another way to avoid feeding loot from a second account into a main account)
Also, Say that someone started a competition but everyone left? Where would loot go and stuff? People could just start a competition then kick everyone as a loophole to donate resources, so the solution is that a competition can only go on with 10 members.
If a competition was started and people left to where there were 10 or less people standing, the creator of the competition will get a letter in they're inbox saying "You must have a least 10 members still in your clan for a competition to keep going if a competition has started, and you now only have (Number) members so the competition has been closed. We are sorry, but your loot cannot be refunded to you."

You don't get your resources back if the competition cancels due to a loss in people to avoid someone starting a competition then kicking everyone when they want their loot back, as it would act as a loot storage.

So, that is th basics of the button, Now lets click it and see where it leads us. In the picture below you will see that it leads you to the set up page where you set up all the options for the competition. The Name and Description are pretty self-explanatory, I don't think I need to individually by making pictures of it. Basically you just click on the typing space and the keyboard will come up and you type in what you want to call the competition and a description for it.
As for the Types of Competitions, Time duration and the Rewards I will explain with detail. So first we will look at the Types. When you click on the typing space for the types some options will come up.
You can click on either "Get the most gold" "Get the Most Elixir" "Get the Most DE" "Donate the Most" "Have the highest trophies" and "Have the greatest level Improvement". You will click on one and that will choose it.

After I have now shown you how to choose what types of competitions there are, we will now move onto the Duration Time. You may choose any time that the competition will last for. But it can last no more than 2 weeks. I will show you the options for the choosing the time.

So, now that we have time down we will go to the last button, which is the most complicated. Rewards. So have you ever wanted to give gems to the highest donator in you clan as leader? Well now you can a lot more simple. You can buy a pack of gems and set it as reward. Or you can loot as well.
The leader can type in any number that they would like to donate. But if you press start and you don't have enough of that resource it will stop you. So the person making the competition has to set the rewards.
After you press "Start" and you have the funds for the prizes, It will automatically deduct. And you will not get them back. This prevents someone from just making a clan with just themselves and just start a competition to act as a storage bank over night and then cancel it in the morning.

So there is how you set up the competition now lets move on to when you press start. Start will be locked until you have every column filled out.
So once I press start, a message will send out to every clan member. It will just say the basics, and for more details you can click details.

If you click the Details button it will bring you to a new page where is shows all the information that the person put when they started the thread.

Okay guys that is it for part 1, now everyone how you set up a competition. I hope you guys are liking the idea so far, It probably took me over 2 hours to make this first part. This was probably the biggest section, the others will be smaller but still pretty long. So moving to competing in the Clan competition.
Part 2/4: Competing in the Competition
In the last section you learned how to set up a Competition. In this section I will basically just show you the basics over competing such as the leaderboard and such. This part will be smaller then the first one.
So, When you click on the details of a competition there will be another button that says "Leaderboards" which will lead you to another page.

So like I said before it leads you to the Leaderboard page which will show you the top 10 in the competition.

So basically in this section I wanted to show you leaderboards, and you move up when you get more gold than another person in your clan. This is it for this section, only 1 more explanatory sections left then it is the Questions and Suggestions.

Part 3/4: Winners and Prizes
So In this section I will be talking about the winners and the pirzes. Once again this is another short section like the last one. There isn't even a need for pictures in this part!
So the money that was deducted from the leader has been put on hold up until the point when the time ends and a winner is decided. The money then goes from on hold to the winner. (Note, make sure your storages aren't to full or you won't get all the money!
So in order to win you have to get first place in the competition, I will show you what you have to do to win for each type of competition.
1. Steal the most gold (Steal the most gold in the time period throughout your clan and be 1st place when time ends)
2: Steal the most elixir (Steal the most elixir in the time period throughout your clan and be 1st place when time ends)
3: Steal the most Dark Elixir (Steal the most DE in the time period throughout your clan and be 1st place when time ends)
4: Have the highest trophies (Have the highest trophies in your clan when the time period ends)
5: Highest level improvement (Go up the most levels during the time period and be 1st place on leaderboards when time ends)
6: Most donations (Have the highest donations when the time period ends)
7: Destroy the most Mortars (Destroy the most Mortars in the given time)
8: Destroy the most X-bows (Destroy the most X-bows in the given time)
9: Destroy the most inferno towers (Destory the most inferno towers in the given time)
10: Destroy the most Townhalls (Destory the most TH's in the given time)
11: Destroy the most Builders Huts (Destroy the most Builders huts in the given time)
When you win a message will send that says the competition is over and so and so has won

Added Cooldowns and member minimum
Due to some recent post from you guys I added to extra things that will fix issues of abusing this idea to feed loot from secondary accounts to main accounts.
EDIT: Reduced minimum number of people to 20
I have lowered the minimum number of people needed to make a clan to 20 so that smaller clans or new clans can still make competitions.
Great idea, have the whole clan pay as well.
This is a great idea. What I think is there should be a "pot".

Example: Leader sets REQUIRED amount to 10000 gold 10000 elixer 50 DE and 5 gems.
There is a cap of 5x each reward so someone can put up to 50k of gold and elixer, 250 DE, and 25 gems.
The whole clan now competes for 500000 gold and elixer, 2500 DE, and 250 gems (minimum.)

The only issue i see is that not everyone will want to give gems so that could be optional. Also, if someone doesn't have a DE storage they don't have to put in DE.
If someone wins without a DE storage, the highest player with a DE storages wins it.
Now, to keep things fair, 4/5 of the clan (80%) must vote YES- this is an acceptable amount to put in, and they're ok with participating
Or, it could be just an optional competition where people just have to tap yes or no. (Min of 20 people must say yes or no competition)

Pilees came up with this great idea, and all of you voted yes except one, so I added it! This brings a whole new breath of life for my Clan Competitions. Thanks Pilees!
Also, In 3 or 4 pictures I'm not sure if you noticed but there was bad graphics from being zoomed in to far and I fixed those.

Some suggestions:-
1.remove the most donation competition
Reason:- cause if the prize is 500 gems players won't request so that others could up there donation numbers.also people will start donating any troops regardless of what have been asked causing dispute between clan members.
2. Make it like everyone in the clan can host the competition.
Reason:- why should only leaders pay other clan members?? Other clan members are also vital part of the clan and should be allowed to host a competition but they will have to take permission from the leader or co leader to host a competition.also not every leader have deep pockets for rewarding gems but some clan members do
3. Add minimum amount of loot that a player should have to host a competition.(gems arnt included)
Reason:- why should I compete for a miserable amount of reward??
4.(optional) add an achievement for hosting competition.

some tropbles i came across
I have come across some problems in this idea.
1.what if a clan has only 20 members and not too high level(lvl 40-). Leader or a member of the clan holds a competition give away his loots and start the tournament.after doing that most or all the clan members leave the clan and joins a better high level clan.what will happen to the reward?? As you clearly said that it won't be returned.
Solution:-
Anyone who want to enter the competition has to pay an fixed amount of loot assigned by the host as the buy-in( let's say 10000 gold and elixer).once a player buys a buy-in that player will not be allowed to leave the clan or be kicked out till the competition ends.
Once the minimum number of competitors (lets say 15) is met then the loot will be permanently deducted from the players account.if the minimum number of competitors isn't met within 48 hrs the competition is forfited and the loot is returned to the host.
Problems with this idea:-
People can make a clan of 20 players who want to exploit the 48 hour buy in time.they can just hold a competition hold all there loot in the 48 hour loot buffer then no one buys the buy-in so that the competition will get forfeited after 48 hrs and the player will retain all his loot.
I'm thinking some way out of it but your welcome to help me out.
If all possible could a Mod help me on this?
Ive been thinking of this for a while, And if a mod could help that would be very nice. So, I really want to make this thread look official, but In the title I have the extra S! Ive just always hated it since I started this thread, if a mod would kindly delete that extra S that would be nice.
Also, I thought you could delete polls, If Id known that I never wouldve created that one poll! So if possible it would be nice to delete that.
This is is not a must, But I just want this thread looking official. It would be nice for a mod to help me change those 2 mistakes, But if its to much of a trouble its fine, no biggy.
