Choose a Race (Spartan, Greek, Roman, Spanish)

My idea is a choosing of a race either when you begin the game or when this update comes out. You could choose between these races:

Spartan
Roman
Greek

But those are just my favorites. I feel that these selections better fit Clash of Clans:

British
Spanish
German

What these races determine are the appearance of your village. It does not affect the clans you join or bases you attack.
Choose wisely because you cannot change this once you've selected. There will also be an icon representing your race beside your name.

i think it fits the game, especially greek roman races. it will bring more beauty to game.

Sorry. The time and area Clash of Clans is set in is European. This doesn't mean you can't show your pride with a Japanese flag!

I get that from the barbarians. Barbarians were a huge part of the dark ages and primarily reigned in that time in Europe. The attire of the maidens also suggests this. In this time Europe was the focus of history.

Because complaints about the country flags aren't enough. :rolleyes:

Also might want to rethink that whole attacking as the Germans thing. Just saying.

Yea. Ya have a point. Thanks for pointing it out. But it seems that most people prefer the Spartan, Greek, and Romans.

Hahaha, this is an odd idea, but very unique! I think you need to explain why you think this idea will be beneficial in the game, and not just something that is prideful yet overlooked by many players if this were to be a major addition to the game.

I think this could make your base look very interesting and prevent everybody's from being the same. Also a thing that makes some of the most popular games out there popular is the ability to choose your type. (Starcraft, World of Warcraft, Hobbit Kingdoms, etc.)

I love clash of clans the way it is. If this gets added I'm quiting the game.

It was a bad idea before...it's still a bad idea even after bumping it after 4 months.

It'll be very interesting if you only list those few races. Then go play with your neighbour and bots. LOL

A smarter way to do this would be to just start pumping out new "skins" for things in the decorations menu. Say you like the roman barracks and the greek spell factory. Now your can have both. Now you can pay in-game gold to unlock the look, thus avoiding the problem of waiting for everyone to reinstall a new version of the game and pick a race before proceeding with the gameplay.

Kind of much don't you think it doesn't even affect the stats just the appearance of the game. Why would you hate this so much to quit the game explain? And also it ain't a very bad idea actually just there could be an easier way to change the appearance of the game, then this, why don't you help him then just saying you would quit the game if his idea happened.
