I'm TH5 with about 1,100 trophys in a silver league and I seem to be the lowest TH in the league. I haven't visited everyone but of those I have, only a couple of us are at TH5, most are TH7 or higher. Not complaining but what happening? I don't view myself as good at this but what's up? Is it just the league or is my trophy count high for a TH5?
No.
The league count only shows "random" people in your league.
You could have a level 200 in your league.
You could have a level 20 in your league.
It's all randomized.
There are plenty of town hall 5's in silver II, btw
Everything is subjective in the world of Clash of Clans. Everyone has their opinions, especially when it comes to trophies. As a TH6, I could barely make it to 1250 trophies, so I guess you are doing well to keep your trophies up.
theres been lower townhalls at masters and one at champion. No.
Do the TH7s have their Town Hall outside? It's called farming, where resources take priority over trophies(though some people might argue on that definition). They leave their Town Hall outside to get a free shield, and they slowly start dropping trophies because of it. Of course, they might have also have dropped trophies on purpose. Heard it's a pretty good place to farm for a Town Hall 7.
Not really a prodigy, granted your doing good. But that isn't that high, because remember the list of people is randomized. And try thinking of it as a way of how far you have come in your amount of time. Im TH8, lvl 79, and only played a few months. I might be above average might not, idk. I just know i have 5 builders (Only bought gems for that), and i never let one sleep, always have them building. And heads up id suggest staying in silver 1 for a while to get good loot. BEST OF LUCK

Not to toot my own horn (too much), but I wanted free builders fast, so made it to 1250 trophies about 8 hours after starting to play...I was a newly minted TH3...I made it to 2603 trophies 9 days after that: Level 30, TH5. 1100 is a respectable effort, but not that special.Quote:

But if a TH5 did make Champs, that guy *IS* a prodigy. Gems can only help so much with level 3 troops.

You are no where near being a prodigy, It isn't even that amazing because there are a lot of other TH 5's and even TH 4's...

The th and trophy systems are manipulated for necessity. Patience and upgrading your base(not just your town hall) is what will make you a better player. But I suppose it depends on what you want out of this game though. It's obvious you will be a trophey pusher, so find a pushing clan that has members you can learn from and have fun clashing!!! ;)
OP. While you are most certainly not a prodigy, you are doing great and hope you continue to enjoy the game. A lot of good info on the posts here (as well as garbage to sift through) but just remember that if you enjoy yourself then all is well. Clash on!
