How many people actually raid storages?

I do not wish to start a flame war, I just want general information. I am on forums often these days and it seems as though unless you are a high level pusher almost everyone here is using the same 3-4 army make ups and farming. It is very clear that at least here on forums farmers are the majority, especially with all the "bad loot" and "not enough neglected collectors" topics floating around.

So, how many people here actually battle with the purpose of trying to raid all storages in a base? It seems BAM and barch seem to be the most used strategy to farm and I must assume that with these make ups the people assume they are not getting to the core. Again, I'm just guessing as I've never used either army make up soplease correct me if I am wrong.

One last question not pertaining to the original point... For those of you who do constantly use BAM, Barch or any other make up (loonions seems popular) ALL the time, how does the game stay fun or fresh for you? It is great that you have a massive GG and all, but how does the game remain enjoyable if you are doing the same thing over and over again just to hit collectors?

Loonions are anything but boring. And with them, you can actually raid tough bases...more often than not you'll hit a storage base rather than a collector raid.

Barch/BAM is what gives the massive gold grabs, but its more of a grind, and not as fun at all for most people.

Personally, collector raids always bored me (that isn't to say I wouldn't take the loot easy tho ;)). The league bonuses, the league bonus increase, and the new loot system all made storage raiding more attractive, and once it became sufficiently profitable, I've not been below Crystal I.

For the first 8-10 months of playing, I used almost nothing other than barch/BAM, which wasn't cut out for much storage raiding. Again, once it became pretty profitable, I switched away. Now I haven't used anything but loonions for about 6 months now. To me, it was about mastering a strategy, then making the most of it. Might be boring to some, but I still get a good chuckle everytime my troops fly over someone's level 11 walls. :o

Thank you for asking this because i was wondering the same question. I've seen a few videos about BARCH and raids were more like collectors than storages raids. Was wondering if i should change my giant-healer combo to BARCH, the thing is loot isn't crazy but it's often in storages when i search, so i highly doubt i will try this one day.

Recently I have been hitting storages, as that is all I can find. Before he loot update I raided mostly storages. The update actually caused me to go after collector raids, when I can find them. Recently I can't seem to find any.

No one ever seems to mention mass dragons?
8 drags, rest archer and 3 lightning spells is definitely the best way to farm at TH7 and TH8.
So many 3stars and 500k raids. I used to do mass drags everytime I logged off and on for about an hour. Then for extensive raids just barch, worked like a charm.
8-10 months seems to be what Ill be doing too, after late-TH8 miniball is legit.

Takes up too much elixir

I think it's primarily based on your trophy range too, if your in gold three 80% of the time you can three star with Barch, BAM, or Loonions...

I'd say I raid somewhere around 60-70% mines/collectors and 30-40% weak storage base of TH7's, bad TH8's, and premmie TH9's.
On a side note, is Miniball at TH8 decent for farming? I need to get some practice with it once I get my minions to 4 and bloons to 5. Oh, and for miniball, does a level 4 rage vs a level 5 rage matter that much?

Just stole 2600 Dark elixir. 150 k gold and 178k elixir from storages with dragons :p

9 dragons managed only 30 % damage because of high level air defenses.

I am so getting revenged T_T

I do storage raids when i feel i can handle them with my farming composition.
