Dirty little trick

I've found a dirty little trick that SC is using to get people to spend gems. We all know from several threads that SC is taking inactives out of the que after a few days. If you boost your barracks you will notice a plethora of abandoned bases.

For those Th9 and lower count how many abandoned bases you are seeing each time you hit the next button. Go ahead and boost your barracks and count how many are abandoned. I realize you are building armies faster, but look at it as a percentage of looks. I guarantee you will see at least double the number of inactives with easy loots. Unfortunately, there are just not as many abandoned th9's and 10's so this strat doesn't work as well at th10. You still get a TON of inactive 7's and 8's tho.

Its a brilliant strat by SC really. "I get crappy loot unboosted, fabulous loot boosted, I'd better spend some gems...."

As a TH9, I see pleanty of these bases and I have only spent 12 gems in well over a year.

Its definitely a conspiracy. Well done my friend.

That seems... weird... I doubt it though. If this is true then that's a gift for spending money.

If their goal is to get you to spend more gems, then why would they keep this a secret? They are open about wanting you to spend gems, so why not advertise this advantage if it were true?

Can you tell us what you mean by "plenty"? That's a very general statement. If you farm a lot of course you will find "plenty" of these but the fact remains that you find nowhere near the amount that you did all of 2013. Everyone knows supercell did this on purpose to slow down the progress of the game in hopes selling more gems and lengthening its life span.

After 2 months of constant complaints supercell has said absolutely nothing on this issue. So we all just have to face the fact that they want less loot in the game. So we all have to make a decision on whether to keep playing or quit.

I for for one just plan on keeping playing but not buying any more gems.

Seems pretty unlikely that SC could prioritize nice loot bases after you booste

Agree, there are lots of inactive bases at th9, boost and look how many more there are.

Not so much a conspiracy (its not unlawful or harmful), but a way to get you to spend more gems.
