Trophy Pushing: Barch VS BAM?

My clan is trophy pushing soon and I'm not patient enough to use a longer training army, so I thought of using two of the fastest ones: batch and BAM. I have some experience with both; I farm DE with barch and gold/elixir with BAM. Some people say batch is best for pushing, others say BAM is better. Which one would you say works best and why? In case this makes a difference i would be starting in the 2000s and trying to beat my record of 2161, hopefully making crystal two. I would prefer no "Just use hogs" etc. Thanks.
Edit: Just got to crystal two. My goal is now crystal 1, but i doubt that will happen.

bam is better for high trophies above 1900
barch would do till 1900

I'd say BAM is better for pushing. Minions add in a lot of firepower. Also, BAM trains quicker.

I find this to be somewhat incorrect- our clan is currently in a trophy push as well. So far I've batched up to 2100 with no problem. OP: I would say BAM. The only reason I'm not using BAM is because I need to conserve some DE for baloonions later on.

Would you use bam to get 50%?

I easily got to crystal 1 simply sniping, as a Th7 that is, so its doable.

Well yes its def quicker to 50% a base but you have to be sure you actually can. For worryless pushing just TH snipe.

I use Barch to get to 2000, then from then on you could use BAM to get to your Crystal II goal ;)
i personally use Barch to 2000 and I start using more expensive armies...

I would say BAM as I have pushed to crystal one with it

Barch to crystal, its easily possible, u don't even have to snipe.

BARCH is wayyyy better. I'm using it to trophy push. Started from 1600s and I have been ONLY using barch, and atm I'm at 2839
