So based on what I experienced earlier, I'm convinced that this forum is as flawed as the game's ranking system which if I didn't know any better i would assume it was designed by Helen Keller.

Lol, the original idea was pretty cool, but yeah, SC has specifically written that they ruled this idea out, and yes, I know, they have A LOT of ideas ruled out. No means to get frustrated though, happens to the best of us. There is a forum group that also lets others know if their idea has been or is ruled out currently by SC to prevent disputes.
SC has ruled out the idea, so mods close threads on them so we can focus on idea threads that may make it to the game. Just because something is ruled out doesn't mean it's a bad idea or that it wouldn't be nice, sometimes it's just not a direction they want to go or something.
