Perhaps someone out there can explain the need to use up two newspaper spaces with a YouTube add for hay day seeing as the only people who will see this particular add are those already playing the game. It beggars belief that someone would not use a bit of sense BEFORE adding this sub feature. I mean come one. This add does absolutely nothing for the player or game.
Bet they're hoping to sell ads to other companies eventually. They're running their own ad because they haven't found sponsors yet.
They probably thought a bigger ad would be easier to see. You know, to get people talking about it.
Does anyone know when that YouTube video ad in the DD is going away? I've watched it several times thinking that would help but its still there. I play on a phone and it is taking up valuable ad space. Phone players have way fewer ads than tablet players. Thanks
It is for future ads, likely not Hayday ads. They need to increase revenue from non diamond buyers and for those not watching or getting to watch the advert videos.
Add another page to the dd then. It's taking up valuable space for iPhone users.
I can't stand the way they placed the ad in the iPhone version! Instead of putting it in the upper left where the permanent CoC ad used to be, now it is in the upper right. It is hard to turn the first page without either clicking on the YouTube ad or the waste-your-diamonds ad. Why-oh-why cant they just put one ad on the left side and get rid of the diamond waster thing altogether?
