Idea for Fixing Farming and Trophies
The idea is simple at it's core. Basically, what I'm about to propose is giving people an incentive for gaining trophies.
What you do is give someone a bonus at the end of the season based on trophy count. Let's just make up some numbers.
People in champions will get resources x1000 of what their trophy count is every 2 weeks. Obviously DE would be different say x10.
M1 would be x900 x9
M2 x800 x8
M3 x700 x7
C1 x400 x 4
C2 x300 x3
C3 x200 x 2
G1 x100
G2 x80
G3 x60
S1 x40
S2 x30
S3 x20
B x10
Basically the higher in trophies you are the bigger the bonus.
So a guy with 3200 trophies gets 3.2m gold and elixir and 32000 de every season. And someone in gold 1 gets 180,000 gold and elixir only.
What do you guys think?
EDIT: Also another idea I had came from playing poker. Have a "rake back" type system. Where at the end of a season people get 10% gold back from all the nexts they press. It'd be a cool little cash back rather than just lowering the cost of nexts.
