Ooh I know what you are thinking! Another whiner complaining about how the new loot system sucks blabla....
Well okay we can say the loot has decreased a little since the looting update, but I have no idea how this happened! Being able to lose more from your storage doesn't mean there aren't any less easy collector raids available right? Well apparently it does! Can somebody explain me why us farmers can't find good collector raids without endlessly skipping?

This flooded the servers with players so the active players dwarfed the number of inactives and collector raids died. However, I do believe SuperCell could have adjusted the time they take to eliminate the inactives from the queue and really helped out the community.
I am hoping that all these new players and people who came back will quit again so we can go back to collector farming and we can stop having all these ridiculous conversations about maxing out your collectors.

for me the good collector raids were around 1650ish. my guess is theyre just all father down in trophies now. idk what happened to themQuote:

Well, there could just be less collector raids.
More people could be learning how to farm realizing trophies are worthless.
People are expecting to find huge loot and pressing next a million times because they aren't adjusting, so the next button is eating loot.
Or SC could be undermining the loot to make freeloaders gem.

Try silver 2. I was having a ton of luck there, but i pushed. Not so sure now but its worth a try.

SuperCell gradually reduced the amount of inactives in the matchmaking system. It started around October 2013 and after/around christmas they turned it a notch more aggressive. That's the correct answer, the loot caps change has nothing to do with it.Quote:

The loot decreased because they decreased the percentage of loot you can get from the storages. But what they increased was the most you can get. So if you are attacking a TH10 with 1m gold in the old system you would get 200k but in the new loot system you would only be able to steal 100k. If the defender has 4m gold in the old system you would be able to steal only 200k because of lower cap but in the new one you would be able to steal 400k.Quote:

Whats happened is that at about the halloween update, supercell began taking inactives out of the attack que and placing them from the "front" of the que to the "back" of the que noticeably faster and more often than before. Now when asked if they "remove" the inactives, every mod here will say they do not. End of subject. But if asked if they take them and place them at the back of the que they will say it happens. So a village hasn't logged on for a bit, and Supercell wants that inactive base not seen as often. In fact it has been said by quite a few mods that placing a village at the back of the que may as well be removing them as it is almost impossible to ever see them again. They essentially are gone. What does this mean? It means that all of the active players, the ones trying to save resources to upgrade walls, troops, defense, well we are all fighting for each other's loot. It use to be that the inactive loot was out there for all, and it enabled a whole lot more bases to save loot a bit easier, leading to more storages raids because people felt more comfortable keeping around a bit of loot to be stolen as it wasn't that difficult to just to go out and get more. Now with the inactives being taken to the back of the line, not only is loot harder to find but those that get it are much less likely to just keep it around to be stolen. One more fact. The new loot update "hides" more loot behind the cap wall. Meaning, it takes more loot in a villages storages to show a decent, lootable amount. So thats it in a nut shell.
Now as to how often they remove them. Major complaints started coming pretty heavy at about the halloween update. The complaints were mainly about not being able to find inactives. I have an alt account that I have pretty much quit playing. It is attacked as long as I log in every 2 and a half days. As soon as I don't log in at the 2 and a half day mark, it is not attacked again until I log in. So we lost a gigantic portion of the loot with the lost inactives. A higher cap hiding a huge amount of the loot. Paranoid people stuffing loot into walls and timing upgrades carefully so as not to get hit carrying lots of loot and an unresponsive game maker that wont respond and fix it until the money stops flowing in.
Just gave up after OVER AN HOUR of nexting!
