My children have just had new KINDLE FIRE HD tablets, and have been hooked on hay day.
However, since the new update, they cannot play it anymore as google play now says their devices are not compatible ???
What the hell ? They are brand new, so is there anything they can do as i have 2 very dissapointed children.
Can someone please explain how they can download the update somewhere else other than google play please .

Hay Day is not available on Kindle as Kindle devices can not connect to Google Play Store which is the only store available for the Android version. I presume your children had some other devices before?Quote:

That is really strange since Hay Day is officially only available in the Google Play Store. :o If your children have been able to obtain & install it on their Kindle devices, it must have been through some unofficial routes. At least I am not aware how that would be possible. Would you mind asking your children how they installed it previously?Quote:

can you put the updated version on 1mobile market so those of us who cant use google can keep playing please...love the game
I also use the kindle to play hay day but cannot update it until update is added to mobile market. Is this something you will be doing soon? I'm on bed rest with bad health and missing my farm!!
I was given a link to download from Amazon when I asked about them getting Hay Day. My children have been playing for a long time now on their Kindles. Now with the last update, I can't find any link that has the updated version. And when I asked on another thread, I was ignored by Nick. Not very nice IMO.
This update has kept everyone extremely busy. As much as he'd like, it's not possible for Nick to answer every single post on all of the very many threads that have been made since the update.Quote:

The ONLY legal distributors of any SuperCell games, including Hay Day, are the Apple iTunes Store for Apple devices and the Google Play store for most (but not all) Android devices. If a device can not access the Apple Store or Google Play DIRECTLY, without any 3rd party app, then it is not a supported device.
I'm so very sorry that you fell into this trap that so many Kindle owners fall prey to. It is hoped to add Kindle to the list of supported devices in the future but no idea when that will happen. I wish there was something I could tell you that would soften the disappointment your children must be feeling. :(
Thank you for showing that at least someone understands and its not just all "business". I have 3 children that are really missing their farms and even ask to play mine just so they can go see theirs again. I know it's just a game, but it meant something to them.
I don't know the reasons why Amazon can't/won't have Hay Day through their apps. I do know they say they are working on it and say they hope it will be there soon. I don't know if that's just to give a warm and fuzzy feeling with a "no" answer or what, but I do wish that the powers that be could come to a wonderful solution so we can all play happily ever after ;)
