I think it's great! I have only one gold voucher at the moment but I do have all the other pets. It's another goal to go for! It's going to take some time to get 40 gold vouchers.. Now I have more motivation for collecting vouchers again :)

20 Gold lures is just downright silly. Gold lures are unreasonable hard to get, I currently have 72, and I've been saving up for ages - and yes, I did also use many on fishing and decorative items like the fish bath, garden swing, swimming pool, etc. I'm not going to spend 20 gold lures just on one pet.
I have used some for pets....I haven't bought all the pets, am happy wit my 3 dogs, 3 cats and 3 horses. I did buy the previous 2 donkeys but I don't think I will buy the new donkey right now. It took a while getting the gold vouchers I have and I just can't part with them yet. :pQuote:

It is very rare when I get a gold voucher...think I have gotten 3 the past month but I have 216 green ones..sigh I will also wait to see if they change it but if not I will be happy with the 2 I have. :)
I don't remember the last time I got a gold voucher - wait, yes I do, it was 2 or 3 global events ago! I never use them for fishing or buying decorations, and I've had all the pets for a long, long time. So me and my 12 gold vouchers are gonna sit this one out. Unless it starts raining gold vouchers...or maybe the gray donkeys can cough them up instead of bolts!
I've got 9 pets, 3 each dogs, cats and horses. Charging 20 gold vouchers makes it very easy for me to NOT get anymore. As it is, the horses are rather pesty.
I think I have gotten 1 gold in the last month. I do a lot of jewelry orders, have done most boats, but yeah .... one gold. I have a ton of the other ones, which doesn't really help when I need gold vouchers to get more pets and what not. The drop rate for me has been beyond a joke.Quote:

If SC felt the need to lower the XP feed values of the original donkeys after 1 week, because they felt that the high xp points were ruining the game .... Then I think they really need to re-evaluate the high cost of the brown donkey, for exactly the same reason.
Whoever thought 20 gold vouchers was a fair price for a donkey, must have been doing serious mind altering substances.
I expanded my my fishing area almost immediately after the update because I had been collecting the LEM fir over a week, in the hopes that they would add some land - but no way in you know what am I going to give up 20 gold vouchers for a stupid donkey that only gives 25 points upon feeding it.
