Hey everyone,
I''m not sure if this has been posted before, but it'd be cool if you could choose a theme for your village landscape, like snow, desert, normal, or idk, firey to match the end-tier gear?
I just think this would be absolutely awesome. Like the vanilla grassland is pretty boring haha! Let me know what you think!

Welcome to the Forums!!! I like your idea too, but I don't think it will work. There used to be an animated waterfall in the jungle around your base. This was pre winter update BTW. It was causing serious lag and making weird glitches happen, so they removed it. Your idea might have a similar effect

I understand what you mean about animations causing increased lag for older devices, however, I'm more proposing just a retexture, maybe with a few significant features to each 'theme'. There wouldn't be animations, but more a few fitting aspects to keep each environment unique.
E.g.
Winter theme: Snow-covered trees, frozen lake, kind of like the xmas theme.
Desert: cacti instead of trees, no lake, no surrounding forest, maybe oasis instead of a lake anfd forest??
Lava theme: Red ground with rocks instead of forest, maybe burnt trees, and a still lava lake for lag reasons?
More features or less for each theme, any variation would enhance the game drastically.

In regards to mining for gems, you sort-of can in a sense. Obstacles regeneratw once per 8 hours, and will give on average, one gem each :) max of 40 per village
This is cool but would make the game glitchy and laggy. The internet is already slow enough sometimes
