Lol the facebook likers are very minor of it though. Which means there is a lot of clashers out there. It's amazing how they got 200k likes in a month. We have 1.2k likes and it was 1 million at January.
The game automatically does this and has always done this forever. It's been tested with alt accounts. There was a thread where one guy left his second account inactive for 6 months and after something like 3 months it stopped getting attacked at all. Supercell isn't hitting a big red button to remove the inactives and it's nothing new.
I think people are just not playing as regular as they did before. Most are just logging on to chat and collect mines and collectors. If they haven't been on for a few days, that's why you see full collectors. They are not removed from search because they are still logging on, now my theory is, if they didn't logon for a few weeks then the account will be disabled from being attacked until the player logon again.
So yes, If you plan to abandon your game, logon once a week will help with the collector raids and there's nothing SC can do about this as they can't detect that your an inactive player...
Can someone that understands game mechanics please explain why SC would remove abandoned bases from search queues? Is it to do with economy and a fear that too much loot would be poured in? I just struggle with the logic...
The most educated guess I can come up with is a fear of too much inactives. I think the amount of inactive players is staggering. Without any system to filter them, we'd perhaps see tons of inactives. The code was presumably written before the very idea of farming existed. So I doubt they considered the value of inactives in terms of loot.
Though I have to say that from a cupping perspective inactivity didn't matter much at that time (no x-bows, IT, barely any traps). I guess it just doesn't look good to see so many inactive players. Marketing matters you know. ;)
I've noticed a lot more collector raids but I'm pretty sure SC didn't put them in the front of the searching que.
I've been seeing a few more collector raids myself, but nothing like before the loot change.
PS if you guys are looking for a massive loot raid search around 1450 trophies, I lost my phone and my storages were full at the time, so I have a potential million in loot raid on my base when my collectors fill up in like 2 days.
More people are quitting.... Why would sc insert more inactive to hurt their revenue?
