2 storages or 3 storages

Sooner or later you will need 3 storages to do the upgrades that cost more than 4 millions...

I'd absolutely do the 3rd Gold Storage. Elixir I'd leave at two unless I had builders with nothing better to do.

Are there any upgrades that cost more than 4 million? Except pekkas?

just get them but keep them at lvl 1. when nu need to upgrade ur storages for higher lvl upgrades or they start getting full, then upgrade them.

Let's say you are defending a battle and you have 300,000 gold available to the enemy. The enemy takes out 1 storage. If you have two (maxed) storages, then the attacker would've got 150,000 gold.

300,000 / 2 = 150,000
300k Gold available divided by 2 storages.
1 storage = 150k gold

Compare to:

300,000 / 3 = 100,000
300k gold available divided by 3 storages.
1 storage = 100k gold

Amount of Gold Lost Per Storage Destroyed

	1 Storage	2 Storages	3 Storages	4 Storages
100k Available	100k	50k	33k	25k
200k Available	200k	100k	66k	50k
300k Available	N/A	150k	100k	75k
400k Available	N/A	200k	66666k	100k

As you can see having more storages is definitely worth it. I hope this helps!
