I upgraded to TH8 ana did not build the third storages.. I'm wondering whether or not i should build them... Having 3 storages means that they will take a lower percentage from each one but it will be harder to protect them unlike having only 2 of each. What do you guys think?
I say 3, but spread them out so they can't all be taken out at once.
Three stores is always better then two. It is much more difficult to hit all three then just two. Same goes at th9, get those stores built ASAP!

It distributes your loot, if you have two and they take one it's 50%, if you have three and they take one it's 33.3333333333%. Basic math. Build three. Spread them out, you'll be fine. Besides you need three for certain upgrades.
If I were a TH9 and thus looking to attack you, I would rather hit 2 storages than three...It is easier to farm although the perception is its easier to defend....Quote:

As a th9 who attacks th8 often, I'm so happy when it's just 2 storages.. I can focus more troops to get the storages easier. Three makes more of a hope then a certainty sometimes.
As others have said i would build the third. TH8 is pretty well balanced to cope with all three, you have three wiz towers mortars, air def etc to provide equal cover to them all. Providing you have a decent layout etc.

my advice: while your in the first month and a half of th8, keep one of the storages at like level 7 or 8. The level where it looks like a max level storage but only has like 500k. Attackers will drop everything to get that one and leave the other two alone and thus miss out on a lot of loot.Quote:
