Hello everyone,
as most of you will already know, Forum Elite 2.0 will be starting on the 17th. In preparation for this Iv'e been practising different attack tactics. Which ones would you suggest I use up in the Crystal League? I'm hoping to hit C2, maybe C1.

what status is your king and what level Re your spells ?

I have 200 spaces. My king is Lvl 5 ATM but I will probably get him up before Monday. I'm hoping not to boost, but I could definitely boost my spells if needed.

your dragons, pekkas and golems are only level1, so I guess GoWiPe and Mass Dragons are not an option just like hogrider attacks with the level1 hogs.
Balloonions may work if you can get 5 loons lvl6 in your castle and take 3 rage spells with you every time and find TH8 or TH9 with unmaxed air defense.
or any clever barch combination. Giant/Healer should also get you somewhere, maybe combined with a bunch of wizards.
For me, The question from Crystal onwards will be how long the elixir is gonna last. I have three goblin missions left to gain elixir once it gets scarce or I will gem it if absolutely needed. I will use mass archers (200), king, 3 lightning spells and castle with 5 hogs as long as I can find TH8 opponents that I can surround and 50%.
after that I will use mass dragons or GoWiPe, both are expensive though.
Awesome! Thanks for some of the tips, at the moment I'm trying out 4 giants & 180 archers to achieve a 50%- I'll tell you how it goes. Giant-Healer tends to annoy me because of the stupid Healer AI, but I might try it out. :)

I dont know what this contest is but barch never fails for the 50% but if u wanna get fancy with big armies i have idea sorry lol all drags?
Well it stinks that your hog and drags are level 1. BARCHing is definitely a way to get 50% wins but i found out that you have to be on consistently to 1 Satr your way up through the ranks. (1 star for 8 trophies and get 80% by hogs and lose 20 trophies) Push hard and keep resources low is how i made Masters early. Good luck to you!
I reached 2400-2450 trophies with lvl 1 hog riders and 2603 master's league with lvl 2 hog riders during my trophy push.
Took me about 4-7 days total from 1300 trophies.
24 lvl 2 hogs
4 lvl 5 wall breakers
20 lvl 5 barbarians
12 lvl 5 archers
10 lvl 5 wizards
3x lvl 4 healing spells
Picking what type of base to attack:
-Dead bases with no active inferno towers and crossbows
-TH snipes (Since you are trophy pushing to Master's league)
First off, use the barbarians, archers, and maybe barbarian king to kill their barb king/archer queen and clan castle troops.
Very important tip is to not take a lot of time taking care of their king/queen/cc troops. I have had a few instances as to where I ran out of time before my wizards had a chance to take out their town hall or do enough dmg.
So basically in this strategy, 90% of the time if you execute the attack correctly, you will be able to 100% any TH7 and TH8 up in crystal league. The most important thing about this strategy is the placement of the heal spells, make sure you place your spells when the hogs are being attacked by splash damage. Place the spell in front of the hogs to where they will run and not in the middle of where they are. Furthermore, place your hogs to where the 2 mortars are on the base.
After your hogs take out half of the base, place 2 wallbreakers first to see where they go(aim for the town hall away from defenses still not destroyed) and place another 2 to provide a path to the town hall. Drop a few wizards to the sides to clear the nearby buildings so that the wizards do not circle around the base and all die. After that, place 1 wizard to see where it goes, and if it goes towards the town hall, place 2-3 wizards at a time to go for the town hall.
Losing a battle once I was 2500 trophies+ hurt. Once I picked a maxed out dead base with lvl 40 heroes and lvl 12 archer towers etc. It was a bad choice and I only got 27% or 1/3 of the defenses.
