How much maxing is worth it at TH9?

So anyone familiar with TH9 training times knows that lvl 30 heroes will take considerably longer than maxing defenses. Walls are pretty subjective depending on the farming abilities and time available of each player. Is it worth sticking around at TH9 to max out heroes after defenses are done? What about for lvl 10 walls? I think I could have at least half my base with lvl 10 walls by the time my heroes hit lvl 30, but I would also have 3 idle builders for a couple months. What do you guys think? Is it worth it? Thanks!

Walls are highly debated but in the case of heros it is simpler. You get another drill at Th10, and drills make a good chunk of DE. Your primary targets as a Th10 are also Th9 and 10 players, both of which produce plenty of DE to raid. So if the question is heros alone, move to Th10 because its much easier to get the DE to keep them upgrade. Plus once you hit lvl 15 upgrade times are 7 days. This means every 10 levels will take 70 days, assuming you can keep them going in a chain. Doing both heros at the same time would be very difficult.

Yeah, it has gotten pretty difficult to keep both heroes down together. I have them spaced apart by 3 1/2 days, so that helps some. I've gotten to the point where my elixir upgrades are almost all complete, so I'll be trying to do de upgrades on top of expensive heroes every 3 1/2 days. De doesn't seem to be too difficult at th10, but gold seems miserable.

defenses and heroes finish nearly the same amount of time if you work on them concurrently since the beginning of th9. good luck!
