I like it, but resources are heavily biased towards the top: An attacker can easily get 2 golds 2 elixirs and your DE.
Looks very good and well-designed, but I'm not an expert base maker. I'm still somewhat of a rookie at base designs, no flaws I can pick out. Great work, keep it up! ;)
Resources are indeed heavily biased near the top but the top also has more defenses and traps. What I could do(tell me what you think) is switch the dark elixer storage and bottom mortar, and then switch the air defense and mortar. That would leave the air defense slightly more exposed but the giants(common attack unit at this level) Would destroy the archer towers, tessla, and cannon before going for the air defense. Let me know what you think!
(For those of you who were confused I swapped it around a little. I reconsidered and didn't put dark elixir storage at bottom because for people hunting dark elixir that will leave the storage and drill close together. Although that imbalances the sides a little, depending if you value a storage or a dark elixir storage more it was necessary.
Let me know if you like the initial design or this slightly revised one better.

The problem with that though is that the air defenses will be heavily biased to the top. Also, that will leave two storages less protected by wizard towers. Not sure if it's worth it.

True but keep in mind no base can be perfect. If I separate out the important defenses then mortars will be too accessible, Storages too far out(I pair storages and WT's together), and air defense easily accessible. I cannot speak for everyone, but for me, a lightning attack to get rid of defenses is not common. At Th8 with a farming base I come across mostly people taking a little bit from collects, lightning spelling dark elixir, or doing the giant healer strategy. For that reason, having main defenses pretty close together is not a con for me, but a pro.Quote:

Honestly, the second one, but my personal tweak in the second one for DE farmers is to clearly switch the CC for the DE storage. Other than that for the TH8 DE Farmers, it's good for people wanting to protect their gold and elixir.
Correct, and its easier to steal from the 5 strgs at the top because all your splash defenses are centered around the bottom.Quote:
