Why do you restrict troop and potion upgrades to just ONE? I understand you are in business to make money and want to encourage people to gem their way through the timers.
It would be nice if we could upgrade multiple troop or potion upgrades at the same time.
It takes so ridiculously long to upgrade the higher levels that I find myself losing interest in playing the game...
Why not allow people to use elixir, gold or dark elixir to burn some or all of the time off?

In an effort to try to avoid a figurative swift kick in the nuts from my wife for spending real money on Gems, I tried a couple of apps where you earn points that you can use to buy Gift Cards that can in turn be used to purchase Gems.
I tried Feature Points first and when I had 3000 points I found out the hard way that I couldn't use an iTunes or Amazon Gift Card to purchase Gems. What I needed was a Google Play Gift Card, a currency I can use on my Android.
I then got the FreeMyApps app and started trying to acquire points by downloading apps with that. I ran into a game called Castle Clash where they have a tab in their interface that allows you to earn Gems by downloading apps, taking out the middle man. I'm sure the makers of Castle Clash are raking in a lot of money by sponsoring apps directly in their game.
They should consider adding a similar feature to Clash of Clans.
