Looking for a new farming strategy!
Hey everyone!
Welp, it's been another several weeks in the awful new loot system! Just wanted to get some of the latest feedback from other players here about how to navigate farming in this terrible new setup. (Specifically talking to TH10 players here.)
Have you guys had any successful farming strategies lately that don't involve getting tendinitis in your thumb from constantly pressing next, occasionally nodding off while doing so, and getting bruises on your forehead from bashing your head against a wall in frustration? I sure haven't!
Here's what I've tried lately:
- Farming inactive bases and those with peripheral storages using Balloonions in the 2800+ range and enjoying the massive attacks against me afterward that negate my gains. This usually gets me a cool 0 loot gain/day.
- Using Balloonion army in the 2300-2600 range every hour or so and regularly clicking next 100+ times to find non-advanced-TH10 bases with 200+/200+ and attackable storages. I'm making a whopping ~1M/day doing this.
- Farming in the 1900-2200 range, clicking next 100+ times to find a decent base, and having several attackers snipe 1-2 of my storages within 30 minutes to negate my gains.
- Farming with BAM/Barch in the 1500-1800 range, regularly clicking next 100+ times to eventually settle for a base with 120/120, or finding a collector raid within 20-30 searches for an ASTONISHING 50/50 raid.
Since our clan's trophy push ended just over a week ago (127 in the world, w00t!), I've been able to start TWO WHOLE UPGRADES: AQ to L16 and a L10 Archer Tower to L11. INCREDIBLE, RIGHT?!?!? I'm sure you can't believe how much wild success I'm having. And I've almost saved up for a L8 Wizard Tower and my last L6 DE Drill. Less than a week to get that last million for each, I'm sure!
I know you might be thinking, "Wow! He's made over 1M resources/day? That's unreal in this new loot system!" And yes, you are right. That's about as good as it gets. But I'm hoping that someone can help all of us find a farming strategy that approaches our previous levels of success, doesn't make us want to blow our brains out, and doesn't involve spending 15-20 minutes after logging on just to find a stupid base to raid.
Thanks!
